Special place for adventurers

Special location and atmosphere on top of the mountains, similar to camping on your track.

It’s quite basic, pay attention that some of the cabins have shared toilets, it’s not clear on Booking. But eventually, it was fine.

Cozy, comfortable, exceptional

Hosts were amazing! We did not speak same language but the host make it possible with translation app and not only provided dinner and breakfast for just the two of us, but also hot shower and very comfortable and cozy bungalow. She suggested a route for a short hike in the mountains and also a better route than gps showed to our other destination. Dunda was also exceptional 🐱 The road to get there requires some off road skills, thought. But its absolutely worth it!

Terrific stay in the wilderness of the mountains

Amazing location nestled between the mountains. Ideal place to start hiking and explore the Komovi mountain region. We would recommend staying at least 2 nights to have the best opportunity to go hiking and enjoy the spectacular views. The only option for food is the cooking of Violeta, as there are no shops or restaurants in the vicinity, but there is plenty of choice and we liked everything we tried.

The mattress in our little hut was definitely not the best. Otherwise, everything was great!

Once you are there and survived the road, it’s a one-in-a-lifetime experience

The location is out of this world! As a frequent traveler, this has been one of the most spectacular and unique experiences in such untouched, secluded. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the whole place makes you feel part of a small community.

The 10 kilometer offroad part to reach the accommodation was horrible! Unless you have a jeep or another SUV, this road is very dangerous and not doable. The small rental that we had barely survived the terrible condition of the 10 kilometer-long road with its holes, pits and stones. If we had known this earlier, we would have definitely arranged something else.

A Heavenly Place

This truly is a very special place, from the location to the property to the host, to the type of guests, all of them amazing. The property is quite modern considering the elevation of 2000 meters, untouched nature, purity. The hosts Violeta and Zeljko are like out of a story book couple; her home made meals are to be died for and his entertainment skills, just ask for if you needed any while there.

There was not much we didn't like, we just wish we had more days to stay there.

Spectacular Views and Cute Cabins

The accommodation is a unique and lovely experience. The hosts were really welcoming and provided us with a drink on the house our first night. We drove the road with our little rental car and had no problem, you just have to drive slow. The views were spectacular and the hikes around the accommodation were great. There were some bugs in the room but the cabin was comfortable, quaint and adorable. There is no wifi but there is service in some areas. We drove to biogradska national park on the second day and it took us about an hour and a half. Overall an authentic and wonderful place!

Lovely host, very helpful despite language barrier. Exceptional location, good food. Definitely a one in a lifetime experience for the stunning view.

The only thing that we weren’t aware of was the 10km drive up a rocky one way mountain path. Would definitely be fine with a 4x4 but was a bit fun in a VW Up!

Beautiful place, kind and helpful host, cozy cabins. An experience to never forget.

First of all, the location of these cabins was outstanding, it’s the perfect spot If you love nature. Second, the houses are comfortable, clean and cozy. Furthermore the host was very kind and helpfull. We would definetely recommend this place to stay.

Only the road towards the accomodation is off road, and a steep climb, but still doable.

The view is breathtaking and the homemade food was very nice (€10 p.p. for dinner, and €5 p.p. for breakfast). The hosts are very friendly, and the rooms are cozy. There is electricity in the evening.

Difficult to reach with a small car. (The hosts can however pick you up for 30 euros (back and forth)).

It's something unforgettable! Exceptional location, stunning view, nice hosts, beautiful sunset in the mountains. There is great restaurant, so we enjoyed traditional food. We asked for the transfer to the Komovi Katun, because ~ 10 km off-road by passenger car it would be really challenging.

We found a gem and enjoyed every second of our stay to the fullest.

We sought refuge from the heat of the city, fresh and crisp air in the mountains, quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the capital. A place where You can drink from the mountain springs, pick some wild strawberries. A place where the loudest sound is the bee flying around. Where the night sky is so close so bright and the milky way so inviting.

Exceptional

This stay was by far my best in any country from booking.com. Violetta and family were above and beyond welcoming and generous. The location is stunning. The property is tastefully designed and authentic. I stayed here to climb the three major peaks of the Komovi, and the location was perfect. Part of the charm here was the remoteness. There’s no WiFi, and no electricity until they cut on the generator at sunset, but this made my stay somehow even better. I highly recommend this place and hope to be back.

Exceptional

Hosts made the stay perfect, also there were two kittens living on the location and the dog. You can cook your own food (use shared kitchen) or ask hosts for the meals. Breakfast was 5 eur per person, lunch and dinner 10 eur per person. You can buy homemade liqueors or honey or jam. Sunsets and sunrises are perfect to watch.

Not a problem, just some notes for next travellers to be more prepared: Electricity is available from 7 pm to 12 am, hot water in shower is oven-based so it's not always there and it takes some time to be hot even if the fire is there, stove is also powered by fire, so if the fire is gone, it's hard to make some tea :) Next time I'll bring a portable gas cooker! Also there is no fridge because of no electricity.

Вид как с картинки! Совершенно замечательные хозяева, очень душевные и любят животных! Еда фантастическая, мы заказывали заранее мясо, потому что готовили его долго к нашему приезду. При этом напитки и закуски можно как принести с собой, так и взять в ресторане. У нас был душ и туалет в номере, но такие номера не все.

Дорога не для слабонервных водителей, но я не думаю, что может быть лучше место для остановки в Комови, чем это! Так что вперед за впечатлениями!

Une séjour hors du commun

Nous avons eu la surprise d’être upgradé à notre arrivée, et nous aurions aimé passer une nuit de plus dans ce logement hors du temps. L’emplacement est à coupé le souffle et vous permet un dépaysement total. Si vous avez besoin de vous ressourcer en pleine montagne, je vous recommande d’aller rendre visite à Violeta.

Il faut prendre en compte la route assez difficile pour s’y rendre (10km sur un chemin de graviers). Nous l’avons fait en C3 et nous avons eu quelques frayeurs notamment au retour pour monter la dernière côte. Avec un véhicule type 4x4, je pense que c’est plus rassurant :)

Wat een fantastische locatie!! Bovenin de bergen, rust en ruimte. Zeer mooie plek om wandelingen te maken en tot rust te komen. Vol in de natuur. De gist was zeer vriendelijk en erg flexibel. Ze spreken geen Engels, maar met een vertaalapp is dat geen probleem. Ontbijt en diner kun je ter plekke bestellen, welke met liefde gemaakt worden. Eenvoudig, maar goed. Aangezien het de eerste dag bewolkt en regenachtig was kregen we een extra dikke deken van de host.

De bedden waren erg hard, maar dat is persoonlijk.
