Cascais Park

Great location. Apartment was very spacious. Great facilities. Pool was great. Very quiet and peaceful.

The bed in the main room was very hard. Shower screen needs to be replaced.

The apartment is HUGE, it was probably too big for just 2 of us, but because there was so much space it allowed us to spread out a little. The janitor was very helpful when we first arrived as the location of the apartment wasn’t obvious and the agent meant to meet us was late, the handover itself was brief and to the point. Access to the pool was a bonus as was a parking space in the garage for our motorcycle. The apartment was spotlessly clean with vast amounts of storage/wardrobe space, having 2 bathrooms was handy, the kitchen had all the appliances you could need, if a little short on utensils etc . to prepare a more elaborate meal.

The is an information book provided but it is essentially a book of rules/do’s and don’t with financial sanctions listed for any ‘misdemeanours’, which serves to make you feel slightly uncomfortable. What would have been helpful would have been info on the location of nearby facilities, supermarkets, places to eat in the locality, bus timetables, phone numbers for taxis etc as the apartment block is some way from the old town, where all the main attractions are - about a 30 minute walk. Because the area is such a large conglomeration of similar apartment blocks it makes it kind of soulless.

The property is in an area we are familiar with, as we have been staying in the area for the past 10 years. Close to cascais town centre by car or public transport. The property is self contained, with an ample size pool. Would definitely book again.

For the overall duration, and cost of hire we felt more towels and clean bed linen could have been provided to allow turnover.
