Fabulous property in great location

The property was in a quieter area of Cochem but only 20min walk into town. Property was over 3 levels with a parking space right outside the house. Host left a free bottle of prosecco on arrival which was very welcome. Kitchen had cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Would definitely stay there again

Wonderful place & host!

Nice property with everything you would need! Location in a quiet area away from the busy city center. Host was so helpful and nice.

Not a problem for us but note that there are a good bit of stairs in this multistory home.

We like to come back!

very nice renovated house, complete and with all amenities available. Very clean and well organized. On walking distance of Cochem centre. We felt very welcome.

The second bedroom is small for two adults. The house is a better fit for two adults and two kids.

A weekend in Cocem with al lot of nature and a nice city to walk around.

The house was very well equipped. No breakfast but the bakery was just around the corner with a good amount of different bread and cakes. The city was just 15 minutes walking. And the first restaurants were just around the corner. Next to the house there was a supermarket with als You needed.

The code of the entranve was send by mail but Idon't received it. But with one phonecalle we got the key.

The host was a good communicator. The house was cozy and the neighbourhood was fine.

There was a dirty cloth in the bathroom when we entered.. Also the wifi wasn't working and then a 'friend' of the host showed up but we did not felt comfortable with this, he had loud music on and looked like he came from a party...

Quirky Cottage

The little house is in a super location, next door to a supermarket and around the corner from a bakery. This was important to us as we were travelling by bike and need to self cater where possible. The beds was comfortable, living space too and the kitchen diner was well equipped with everything that we needed. I loved the quirky layout of this very old building, although that might not suit everyone.

It would have been nice to have not had to go down a flight of stairs to the bathroom in the night, but this is only a minor point as we loved the little house. If you have difficulty with stairs, this will not be the place for you, otherwise all was perfect.

Cute and Quirky Apartment

It is a cute house in and old building with quirky angles. The apartment has been updated and included 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a separate WC on the main floor. It also included a washing machine and parking space, very close to the river walking path. There's a lovely wine garden within a 5 minute's that I wish I had spent more time at!

Only complaint was the stairs were difficult for my mom. Both bedrooms are on the top floor (we call it the 3rd floor in US, but 2nd floor in Europe) while the bathroom is on the middle floor. My mom ended up sleeping in the living room on the middle floor to avoid falling down the stairs in the middle of the night. Also another minor thing - the washing machine was very difficult to figure out without English translations.

Very Nice welcome by owner. Everything you need in a household was there. The house was tiny but nice and clean. Next to supermarkt and bakery Very close to center.

1 there is no firealarm in the house. 2 would be Nice for little kids to have a protection so they can not climb up the stairs . 3 its too small for 6 adults and 2 kids

Lovely, comfortable and clean accommodation, kind and considerate hostess.

The house was built in the 16th century, it has been beautifully renovated and is homely with well equipped kitchen, washing machine, an additional, separate toilet. Our host was very friendly and received us personally in spite of our late arrival. The small extra attention, such as fruit and chocolate or lemonade prepared for us, as well fresh flowers in the house or small presents, such as ritual cosmetic samples in the bathroom added a further positive touch to the anyway beautiful accommodation. In spite of the grey weather, we spent wonderful 3 days there. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Gut ausgestattet, wenn auch alles „zusammengewürfelt“ war. Der Vermieter hat schnell und umfangreich auf Fragen reagiert.

Die Schlüsselabgabe beim Vermieter nervt, insbesondere wenn man nicht mit dem Auto da ist. Ebenso die Müllentsorgung.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und auch sehr hilfsbereit uns steht auch jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht, ganz großer Pluspunkt finde ich die Waschmaschine, an den heißen Tagen die wir hatten war die Waschmaschine echt Gold wert. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal an die Gastgeberin für die schöne Zeit 🤗

Für ein paar Tage an der Mosel genau richtig.

Wir sind als Ehepaar mit Hund für vier Übernachtungen im Ferienhaus Emil gewesen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, es war so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr schön eingerichtet. Mit dem Hund war es möglich eine schnelle Gassi-Runde an der Mosel zu drehen. Im Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach haben wir sehr gut geschlafen und uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die Treppen haben uns nicht gestört.

Wie immer bei diesen Kurztrips - zu schnell vorbei.

Da wir in der Nebensaison an der Mosel waren, war der Preis als Geschenk. Es ist sauber und Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür

Für ein bis 2 Nächte sehr gut. Für längere Aufenthalte würde es für uns nicht in Frage kommen.

Es war alles sehr unkompliziert. Konnten schon früher anreisen. Es war sehr sauber und die Betten gemütlich. Für Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen ist die Unterkunft nicht geeignet. Das Bad liegt eine Etage tiefer als die Schlafräume. Das Wohnzimmer haben wir gar nicht genutzt, ist vielleicht eher für Gäste, die länger da sind. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Insgesamt sind die Zimmer sehr vollgestellt mit überflüssigen Möbeln. so kann man sich schlecht bewegen und hat sehr wenig Platz für Gepäck. Praktisch war im großen Schlafzimmer die Kleiderstange. Für 2 Nächte was es aber vollkommen ausreichend. Es gibt direkt einen Bäcker und einen Pennymarkt (der im Moment renoviert wird und geschlossen ist) um die Ecke. Super ist der kostenlose Stellplatz.

Man kommt gerne wieder...

Wir haben bereits das zweite Mal das Häuschen Emil gebucht. Wir mögen die Lage sehr, da es ruhig gelegen ist und man dennoch schnell zentral Unternehmungen nachgehen kann.

Wir mussten vor Ort etwas organisatorisch umplanen, da der naheliegende Penny zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt bis voraussichtlich Ende des Jahres komplett innen, wie aussen saniert wird.
