Comfortable and cosy hotel

Only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed the comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, nice atmosphere and our balcony had a nice view of the mountains. Also really polite and welcoming staff!

Only downside was that we booked a double room but we were given one which also had a bunk bed which made the room feel a bit crammed. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

Highly reccomended

I booked at the last minute due to a change in my travel plans and was so happy to have stayed here. The people running the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. My room was large with a good bathroom and balcony, and I was very comfortable. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station.

Rather dim lighting. But really nothing to worry about.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The car park is right next to the hotel, easy to find and convenient. The town is beautiful and quiet. Very lovely spot.

The room is humid and hot but we can not open the windows. Although it’s a non smoking room but the people smoked outside and the room is full of smoke if we opened the window. The room is also super tiny.

Great place to start a TMB trip

5-star service in a 2-star hotel. A warm welcome from friendly staff, a fine room and a great breakfast in a really central location near the train station. The perfect spot for hikers heading off on the TMB. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff and excellent value

The staff were so warm and welcoming! Especially Emmanuelle at the front desk— she gave us such good advice and made us feel so at ease. The location is very convenient—easy to get to and from, already nestled in the mountains, and a perfect stop en route to the TMB. Breakfast buffet is simple but good. Rooms are well above average for the price and very clean. Supwr WiFi too! Overall, recommended and a good value!

Excellent value for money hotel with lovely host

The first thing to say is how welcoming and lovely the hosts are. The rooms are clean with balconies, comfortable beds, loads of hot water (really important after a day's skiing) and a lovely little bar. There is also a very good choice in the buffet breakfast. If you are skiing they have a room to leave your skis and boots overnight. Although Le Fayet is small, there are a number of good places to eat within a couple of hundred metres, not least the one just across the road.

It would be nice if the bar stayed open a little later.

The staff was helpful and very nice and accommodating with us. The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable, it's a very good deal.

Good value for one night.

Hotel owner was very friendly and gave information on where to eat - mixture of french and english. The room was good for the one night we stayed - tidy, very warm water and bed was comfy. Redecorated recently - not a modern hotel room but still comfy.

It’s a modest hotel but they do a good job. The staff is very friendly. Perfect if you want to be near the train station. Good breakfast and parking!

Quiet cozy stay in La Fayet.

People are kind, room was great, location is very convenient! We would stay again here next time! They prepare our room at 10:00 AM and it was bigger than our expect.

Sound from corridor and outside are very hard. But they gave us ear plug, thus you can rest in peacefully.

I didn't liked the noise in the place at night ( one night till late people upstairs was jumping around . Breakfast was just average and so was breakfast time ( till 9 pm only ) and the check in time was redicilous .

Excellent value near Chamonix and Mont Blanc.

We liked a lot the location, just 20 min. drive from Chamonix, at a much better price/quality ratio. The building is at a main road but everything was very quiet. We liked the room (with balcony) and the friendly people at the reception. The breakfast was very good.

We had to park our car in the main road in front, not a big problem. In Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, dinner time ends very soon (at least this last August), we could not find a place after 8H30pm. There was no elevator.

Personnel aux petits soins...

Les patrons et le personnel sont adorables et font tout pour rendre votre séjour merveilleux. Super séjour avec mes 2 enfants de 7 et 10ans: jeux de société disponible et PlayStation . Bon petit déjeuner, le sauna et la salle de sport sont un plus.
