Die Vermieter waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit . Der Blick über die Bucht von Heraklion ist atemberaubend. Die Außenanlagen sind wunderschön gestaltet mit einem sehr sauberen Pool und einem Wintergarten.

It's absolutely brilliant. Kostas & Penny were the warmest hosts. Their giant house is amazing. It's one big house, split into 3. They live in the main section and they've turned one side into a private section of the villa The third area is a studio apartment - this was not booked in the week that we stayed, therefore we had the place to ourselves when Penny & Kostas were at work. As for the accommodation itself, it is faultless. Incredibly spacious - comfortable - 5* hotel like bedrooms and bathrooms - with a fully equipped kitchen etc. It's specced with the finest materials. The views from the back garden and pool area are stunning, you can see for miles. As a comparison, the viewpoint down by the road does not come close to how good the view is from the accommodation. The sunrises every morning were spectacular. It's a 10 minute drive down to Agia Pelagia beach - which is perfectly easy & the major supermarkets are 15 minutes away. Location is great. We loved staying here - it was perfect for our family holiday.

Not applicable to us - but do note that the house is split into three private areas - so even if you book the private villa option, you may not be the only people who stay here.

We deliberately chose this location for the peace & quiet away from the usual vacation hubbub and the stellar views across Heraklion Bay out to Dia. It did not disappoint. Penny & Kostas maintain a beautiful and upscale property and were kind, friendly, and very informative when asked anything. The road up to the property is not for the faint-hearted, but it added to the sense of isolation and peace & quiet for us. We also loved interacting with their lab and their cats, who engage if and when you choose. Our daughter loved the pool and the herds of goats wandering around outside the compound and through the hillside olive groves. This is an easy location for day trips to East, West or South of the island, with easy access to multiple beaches within 5-15 min drive. Highly recommend this property and Penny & Kostas as hosts.

There was nothing we did not like, but one suggestion - need a good bread knife in the kitchen. We bought beautiful fresh bread every day and just needed to cut it with a little more finesse. In my book, that is the definition of a first-world-problem 😀
