About this cottage rental
Post & beam cottage with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and hardwood floors provide a very cozy cabin feel. Outside the property has a large open deck, covered back porch, fire pit area and a paved driveway with a basketball court. A short walk down a private path to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. If you like golfing, Bar Harbor Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. The town of Ellsworth is within 10 mins for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.

One is a secluded ocean front cabin with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. It has 2 bedrooms in the main cabin and a third private bedroom in a seaside bungalow style cabin. Outside the property has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove with an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Both cabins sit near the shore and provide water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard.
The other is a ocean side cottage with a wonderful private sandy-gravel beach. It offers 4 bedrooms and three baths and will sleep 10.
Rent multiple units and save $100.00 on each rental per week.

Perfect location for traveling to Bar Harbor and Acadia.House was great for our group and very cozy. We enjoyed game nights at the dining room table and meals on the deck. We also enjoyed the wildlife in the yard. Host was very responsive! Ashley B.

HelloHow should I begin? A rating of 10 out of 10 simply does not do justice to this property. This splendid place has everything one could possibly need to enjoy a laid-back week of pure relaxation. The location is absolutely perfect – close to Acadia and Bar Harbor, yet far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle that everyone else has to endure. It's conveniently near seafood and any shopping needs one might have in Ellsworth.The host deserves better than a 10/10 rating as well. I had forgotten my park pass at home and needed one printed. I sent a text, and the response was prompt and helpful: "I sure will print it and bring it to you." This level of service was truly appreciated. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely. The next time we plan a vacation to Maine, this will be the first place I look for when checking availability.Best regards

Great place to stay. Large open space downstairs with kitchen, dinning & living room. 2 large comfortable bedrooms upstairs & a nice loft with futon. Nice big deck outside. So many things to do in the area. Would stay in this house again.

Great house about a half hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nate was very attentive when we had a small issue, and solved it promptly. Would definitely stay there again!
