Izla Hotel by Fiesta Americana Isla Mujeres

Nice room, comfortable bed A really beautiful pool and a perfect view from it and the beach.

It was very strange for me to arrive at a supposedly 5-star all-inclusive hotel but there isn't even a small refrigerator in the room. There is a dining room but there isn't much choice and sometimes instead of a buffet there is a menu and it takes a long time for the food to arrive, the staff tries very hard but apparently that's the atmosphere of the place where you have to enjoy and take your time. There is no coffee machine so I didn't have a good coffee for the morning. The hotel is a bit far from the center but even in Isla you have to rent a golf cart

We love the location. Huge bonus you can go from the pool to the ocean.

DJ was playing music too loud at the pool during the day.

It was nice to escape the madness of Playa Norte and more touristy areas and have some chill days by the pool. The pool is massive

There is a pervasive smell, which I think emanates from the marina swamps opposite. It’s like a stagnant water smell

Our favorite part about this hotel was the staff! The service the staff provided was truly exceptional. The pools are second, loved the rooftop pool.

Our room had a very pungent mildew smell that just lingered the whole time we were there. It was very unpleasant and disappointing. They did try to solve the issue but the solution didn’t really work.
