Location to Cambridge and Hamilton

The property was lacking some basic maintainence, in our room alone the air conditioning operated poorly, the jug was temperamental and the shower/bath diverter was stuck. The carpet was also lifting in front of the door.

Paid a premium price yet there were things that were not really up to the price standard, such as the spa. I have stayed at hotels in big cities with facilities similar and they were well kept and maintained. The spa was full of leaves and bugs. Was quite nasty really. Would expect it to be scooped or cleaned. The large family had no cooking facilities it there was a camp like communal kitchen. Wouldn’t expect that for $350 a night.

Modern appearance with decent facilities but a bit pricey for location

Good sized clean modern motel room, good shared kitchen facility and good en-suite bathroom and lg tv. No apparent bike storage but space in room for bike.

Noisy unsupervised pool behind rooms. Not close to shops or cafes.

Very impressed with the facilities. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a look around the communal area and found it to be well equipped and clean with modern furnishings. It would be the ideal place for a group gathering. I had a day surgery in Cambridge and the Podium was close to everything we needed.

We would have liked to have nets on the main window for privacy in the afternoon/evening. The compendium mentioned breakfast (details to be found on page one) but there was no further information of it and also air con instructions (to be found in the appliance section) and there was nothing further found.

Great place to stay. Was great location to where we had to be for my sons cricket.

I loved how the accomodation was all seperate with no adjorning rooms. Room was clean and tidy and spacious. Beds were super comfy to which is great

The only negative i found was it wouldve been great to have a tv in the room. Always nice when you are away to lay in bed and watch tv at the end of a busy day.

The rooms we had didn't have any space to put clothes away really. The bathroom it had nowhere to put your toiletries. Other times we have stayed the bathroom seemed better. This was for accessible guests, I didn't like the open shower, constantly wiping the water off the floor. Price has gone up quite significantly from last year. You could go to a hotel with breakfast and the night rate would likely be better.

Cool layout with the different countries named after Olympic hosting countries, very clean and tidy, heaps of parking, great picnic tables and seating, and awesome (huge!) pool!

It would be nice if the windows were tinted, as you can see right into rooms opposite you and as you walk past, so no privacy unless the blinds are down. But that’s only a minor! Everything else was perfect!

Awesome place to stay like a little village Swimming pool and spa. great set up for sports groups or large groups, basketball court and soccer goals, bike repair station with tools and air Highly recommend, 5-10 min drive to town Easy Walking distance to bike pump track and velodrome, walking track along the river. Sleepless in Cambridge..

The room was well appointed, New linen and towels. Nice small unit, firm bed. Only minutes drive to the city centre. Off street parking

No privacy once in the room as it opened up onto a pubic courtyard , Should have had net curtains or mirror tints in sliding door and windows. The number on the unit was not visible as we came from the car park. Couldnt run a bath as the valve would not work allowing the bath to fill. Pillows were to hard and should have had a choice of soft or firm. Complex could have been laid out better. Value for money , No. Would we stay there again. No.

Great for parking our boats . Close to Karapiro where we racing . Clean tidy . Great 2 bedroom rooms for families.

Nice place, especially if you had a big group

We liked that it was nice & quiet. You may get teenagers running around, but once they go to bed, it's quiet. Pool would have been good in summer. The court & soccer goals would be handy for entertaining kids if you took a ball. About a 5min drive to town & food. Big bathroom

I was hoping to have a spa, but the temperature was too cold for my liking. Warmish, not hot. I went to have a bath & couldn't get the water to change from the shower to the bath. Yes, my partner tried, but it seemed broken or not working. I didn't like for the money paid that they expected us to wash our own dishes, but that's just me. Parking is available, but we had to park on the grass because there wasn't any. It was taken up by trailers, so we made our own.
