About this apartment rental
This ground floor 3 bedroom/2 bath condo is in a 13 unit beachfront complex just south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Condo C1 has a large porch that puts you right on the beach and faces the sea with a fabulous view of the Belize Barrier Reef!
The principal bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom; the second bedroom also has a king, and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds (which can convert to a king). There is also a living room (with queen sleeper sofa), dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Sunset Beach Resort is located 2.5 miles/4 km south of the town core, which means you are away from the crowds yet still within easy reach of everything. In the neighborhood we have:
--Suya Tour operator (1 minute walk)
--Marin’s, a small grocery store (2 minute walk)
--A few good restaurants (2-15 minute walk)
And there are more shopping, restaurant & entertainment options on the way to & in town, which is not far away!
The Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, is very close to shore making the area ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing; other water sports are also popular!
It's easy to take a day trip to the mainland to visit Maya sites such as Altun Ha and Lamanai; or to observe some of the 500 species of birds found in Belize and/or catch a glimpse of monkeys, manatees and crocodiles in the wild!

An onsite staff person will meet you for check-in & to provide you with a key; we will need to know your island arrival plans (& would be happy to help with the logistics!) in advance in order to facilitate this.

Our family had such an amazing time. The condo was the perfect size for two couples and a kiddo! It had everything we needed and was so cute and comfortable. The whole resort property was just adorable. It was so great to walk out your front door right to the pool or dock or ocean! We made use of the kayaks and bikes! The location is perfect if you like things more quiet, but was still jist a short golf cart ride away to downtown! Jason and James, the property managers, we SO nice, gave the best recommendations and helped book amazing excursions! Will definitely go back!

First I would like to say thanks to the host(Barb) who is so helpful with planning your whole stay! She gave us lots of useful info, and while we didn't plan everything through her she was so helpful.
The condo's were nice, plenty of room, and we loved the views from our balconies. We rented the whole C building for our group of 16 people. We took advantage of the private dock with excursion pick ups, and water taxi outings. The condo is close enough to downtown to get there quickly with a golf cart, and it isn't a bad walk if you decide to walk the beach into town(about 20 minutes). There are a couple restaurants really close to the resort, and a small convenience store across the street if needed. I highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time. We love Sunset Beach Resort. The south side of the island is our vibe. It’s great for our whole family. We have teenagers and kids in their 20s. Our dive shop is close by, they pick us up from the dock. And we love a couple of the restaurants and hangouts on the southside. Barbara is amazing. The property manager, Jason, truly makes you feel like family. it’s awesome to chill in the hammocks or by the pool. We highly recommend this property.
