Altogether a good comfortable stay in this beautiful town

Breakfast not included but the unit was good value for money

Paid for daily cleaning service for the 2 days but did not receive cleaning on first day. Locked gated entrance at the bottom of stairs gives impression of an unsafe area but the area looks good and safe

Close to the restaurants and Somerset West

Set in a mixed zone commercial and residential area. More like a backpack kers stop. Too many steps and industrial staircases. Not suitable for the elderly. Place has no view. Good for business folk. Not a holiday home.

Only one private bathroom and one shower. Second bath and toilet open plan in room Only one bedroom. Second bed shares the lounge area. Works for couple with small kids but not ideal for 4 adults.

A well appointed and comfortable apartment that afforded us a peaceful stay during the peak holiday rush 🤗. It was writhing a 20min walk to the main beach and was nearby useful shops and restaurants.

Our timing was great but possibly provide guests booking outside of peak holiday periods know that there are many offices and businesses within the gated area…. Just for context

Great stay and amenities, but rules and regs could improve loud/noisy activities in neighbourhood

Exceptional location, great hosts and easy to pick up keys. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Very spacious and comfortable. We liked the temperature control / aircon in all areas of the apartment, comfy seating spaces and all amenities for cooking. The neighbourhood is a secluded, access-protected area.

Apartment is located in an area with a number of other holiday-goers / residents, some of whom appeared to be influencers recording "lifestyle" videos at night (after 23:00) and early morning (before 06h00), revving their Ferraris. Was rather hard to sleep at night and not great to be woken up that early during a weekend getaway.

Winter stay

I really enjoyed the overall space and location, really nothing to complain about. Though the space would be improved with a more comfortable double couch, and a bigger dining table, but very nice.

The noise form next door was a bit nuts. Children crying or screaming until late.

It is a lovely place, well equipped, good communication, easily accessible amenities in the estate

The space is beautifully appointed and it felt like a luxurious getaway for me (for a quiet writing retreat). Watching the cheetahs through the window was a pleasant surprise (the Cheetah Outreach is next door). The coffee shop a 100m away is lovely for breakfast. The estate also has a shopping centre with other restaurants, a pharmacy, and a grocery store if you want to self-cater (fully-stocked kitchen). It is also right next to the Paardevlei Wetlands circular walk - about 3km. A lovely walk at sunset with stunning mountain views. My only personal challenge is that I felt a little bit lonely at night as the rest of the building and parking lot is empty at night. There is however security at the estate entrance, and the unit has a double-door entrance.

I struggled a bit with the wifi over the weekend - I used my mobile data for desktop research as I didn't want to bother the hosts over the weekend and my work doesn't require huge amounts of data. I didn't use streaming services, and there is a DSTV decoder for TV - so not sure how the TV streaming services are

We were not told it was in a business park, very awkward, the two apartments we booked together were far apart, photos made it look like it was two separate bedrooms, but everything was open and not very private, we had water running down the wall from upstairs onto the bed below

Our stay was comfortable and close to all the locations we needed to be.

We arrived after sunset. It was easy to access the security, building and the keys to enter. The apartment is modern and clean with everything you need for a short stay.

The security gate at the bottom of the stairs was constantly left open by other tenants. We've had a group next to us that ran up and down the wooden stairs well after 10pm at night. Beds are quite hard, especially the single beds.

Spacious inside but hardly any outdoor space

Very spacious and airy property, effective air con, no issues with load shedding, safely located within a gated development. Presented cleanly, bedrooms were comfortable.

All of the fittings and fixtures felt cheap - for example the dishwasher didn't work and the furniture was a bit wobbly, although the beds were good. Only a tiny balcony for outdoor space and the brai/bbq area was around the back of the property so worth bearing in mind if you want to bbq particularly in the evening.

Modern and stylish apartment in mixed-use building

The unit is on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building. The apartment is open-plan and very modern and stylish. The bed is very comfortable. There is an air conditioner that is very necessary in summer. The kitchenette is small but has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

The exercise studio on the floor below offers classes starting at 09:00. All the doors and windows are then opened and loud music is played. This is not ideal when on holiday and wanting to rest and relax.
