Villa Elena

Everything! I waited to write this review as I wanted to do this experience justice. It was paradise. Unless I was writing a travel book, it would be impossible to describe the magnificence of the property and the people of Conca dei Marini, the hidden gem of the Amalfi coast. Our host Giulia is a wonderful woman and saw to our every need. I don’t think I have ever experienced that level of indulgence in my traveling life. Whether excursion bookings, food booking, transportation considerations and everything that you need for a wonderful holiday. You need to do nothing but leave everything in her capable hands. She even welcomed the 14 traveling in our party to her home and wonderful home kitchen restaurant Amapola for an gastro experience like no other. The property’s location allowed us to dine at Le Bonta DelCapo. We had a reservation for our last night, however were informed by our taxi driver Enzo there was no need to wait. We spent 4 glorious nights dining and being entertained by a family run restaurant and a staff that was magical. From Chef, to his son Vincenzo we were treated like family, all lead by Antonio who made us feel that we always belonged. Antonio, we are all in your gracious debt. If you have an opportunity to stay at Villa Elena, do not hesitate as you will be transported to paradise at a magical experience.

Warm welcome with Prosecco and convenient grocery service by Giulia! Perfect location nearby small shops, restaurants and panorama views. Great pizza's at Nino's and the saucages of the nearby butcher are great!

Very friendly and helpful welcome team. Views from the property are absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for our large family gathering. Each bedroom had an ensuite. Each room was very private and all bedrooms were of a good size

Slightly short on cups Pool water was rather cold Some mattresses were a little too firm (appreciate this is very subjective!!) The neighbouring properties had several bonfires which rather overwhelmed our building on two occasions (again appreciate this is not the owner's responsibility but it was a little concerning at times!!)
