Ambrosio Relais

Loved our stay. We were very relaxed after a busy year and this was perfect for us. Beautiful garden with lemon trees. Fruit was plentiful and tasted amazing. The pool was bigger than in the pics and always lovely and clean. We were practically the only my one there every day. So peaceful. We got the quad room and it was very spacious and cool. It’s a lovely apartment and photos do not do it justice. Would highly recommend

The walk into Sorrento was along a busy road. Sometime breakfast felt a little sparse, with one boiled egg, bread roll or croissant per person

The apartment itself was so delightful, lovely decor, great size, super clean, and amazing views of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius, great place to relax and take in the scenes. The property is in a great location, around a 25 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento, but also a bus stop outside that can take you to the centre. Also a 10 minute walk from Sant Agnello, where you can get the bus to nearby towns including on the Amalfi coast and Naples airport. Around a 30 minute walk to Sorrento port where you can get Ferry’s to Amalfi coast towns and Naples. The hosts were very accommodating to our requests.

Breakfast was included, which was great, it is the same continental options every day, so perhaps more variety within the options would have been good when staying for a few days.

Breakfast is “whatever you can find” service. If people eat croissants before you, you cannot find any more. Whatever the number of guests, we understood that they are serving a constant amount of slices of cheese and everything. They Never offered a second coffee and we could not dare to ask for it because they were not smiling faces. We made a mistake for the reservation, one day shorter than we needed. They called us by phone and said very rudely that they are going to put our bags and belongings out of the room. Asking them yo wait for us We rushed back to the hotel and kind of checked out in a rush not with a smiling face company of the staff
