Vila Rose is a lovely large modern villa located on the hillside outside of the sleepy town of Splitska on the island of Brac. The villa has three excellent sized bedrooms all of which are ensuite. The lounge, kitchen and dining area are open plan and so very light and airy. There are fabulous views over to Split and the mainland from the roof terrace. The villa also has good sunbathing and outside dining areas near to the private pool.
The villa was easy to find and Maja was waiting to greet us at the villa and to show us around.
It is possible to walk downhill into Splitska which is about 8 minutes away on foot where there are a small number of restaurants and bars, and it is also possible to walk to the next town Postira; however, in order to fully explore the island a car is essential.
