The location was great for us. It is a charming alpine house that makes you feel at home. The start of the hike Schafberg and the railway is just steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed the waterfront area and used the paddle boards.
I didn’t see if there was any type of lounge area inside the hotel. The building is a bit of a maze and no one mentioned such a space. The double bed was supposed to be able to separate, but nightstands were installed into the wall and kept the mattresses together. There is no freezer, only a refrigerator.

The lift was not very useful - it stopped between floors rather than on them.

The location is good close to the bus station and it was clean.
The room furniture abit too old. the bathroom in our room was open concept and it was a little cold while taking bath. Besides, it might not convenient for heavy luggage cause need to bring up to staircase
