    This is a great hotel to relax. However, if you plan on visiting the holiest temples in Wutaishan, the location of this hotel is a bit far from all of them. This hotel is very close to Encore Mount Wutai though.

    It is located away from the town near the South Gate and the theatre. It is very serene with spacious room. The breakfast is good with lots of varieties. One gets to try different local cuisine. Shuttle is provided 24/7 via an apps away for guests to venture out to the some local eateries along a street in a nearby village, or to the gate or the theatre.

    I have stayed in cheaper hotels and they are in much better condition compared to this hotel. It is extremely lack of maintenance, I can feel they didn’t upgrade the facilities. Sliding doors / dividers door not working well. Balcony door need extra work to get it open / closed. And worse I have booked a room for 3 adults, but there aren’t extra bed, lack of towels etc. Oddly were told if require extra bed, we have to pay additional bed fee despite we clearly booked room for 3 adults. The only saving point is the breakfast- which has a huge variety, yet only available for 2pax, despite booking for 3 adults. To add on to my unpleasant experiences, Agoda overcharged the cost of the rooms. Upon booking, they mentioned it will be estimated SGD*** for 2 rooms which I have booked in first week of April. And by 16Apr (less than 10days), they charge me SGD929.91 for 2 rooms. Extortion saying it is exchange rate. The exchange rate was stable… this is a huge difference. Please choose to pay to hotel directly.
