Great rooms, and staff. Location is old Bangkok interesting, short distance to BTS..Not the most happening area in town but still interesting.

Property phone disconnected and did not answer messages on Booking.com or email. Check in did not advise that breakfast was provided at a different hotel nor was the procedure to enter outside of desk hours. Room at front noisy.

Great staff, great rooms - roomy! Well designed. Air-con humming softly. July, low season, more than fair prices. Short walking distance to everything, skytrain, restaurants, grocery etc. All that's needed is a dancing elf to hug you every time you enter your room, but i'm alone here so i need it more than most, although i'm not expecting it from any hotel.

Cheap & cheerful if you’re spending most of your time out and about - although nothing of note is within walking distance. We upgraded to a suite which turned out to be a fairly small/regular sized room. Baffled why it’s called a suite, maybe because it has an armchair? Bathroom was minuscule & if you like privacy, you won’t get it here! Sliding glass opaque door that does not lock & as you’d expect has zero sound insulation so using the facilities with your partner 6feet away in bed is somewhat “intimate”! Air con is super cold and beds are comfortable & the room was clean. Only one pillow per person was disappointing, as were the size and scratchy/old condition of the towels. Shower is electric & if you’re under 5ft 6 don’t expect to be able to reach the unit and adjust the temp! I had to rely on my partner coming in to alter it for me. Not ideal. A kettle is provided, and 2 mugs - but no spoons/coffee/tea/etc so fairly pointless.
