Fantastic views, great host, lovely apartment

This is a special B&B - not many places treat customers like Jody and his family do! Starting the day with those fantastic breakfasts served at the terrace with the sea view is a great experience - I really appreciated the local products and the explanations given. As well as the insight tips to the area of Lingura, restaurants, hiking tours, etc... This stay in Chincamea made our 1st visit to Italy a must-return - Thank you very much for your hospitality and amiability!

Amazing location, the breakfast was unbelievable - all home-made by Jodys mum. An amazing experience. Jody was the best host you could imagine. The view was incredible, the room was very nice, the hosts were really great and were very hospitable! They served a nice breakfast. Room was very modern and had a nice pool. We had our own garage which was a nice touch! The hosts made dinner reservations for us at local hotels which was nice! We really loved the property.

The pool although nice was cold, the pool is slanted so it’s tough just to stand in pool without floating or holding on to edge. The view was nice but they would benefit more from a infinity pool. The road there is not for the faint of heart and also once there you have to travel winding roads for food, just be prepared.

Nice and clean rooms, nice pool with a great view! Jody is very kind, and takes time the give some advice for the best spots. The breakfast by the family was amazing!

Our host Jody and his family were really exceptional hosts. Very friendly and so helpful regarding places to eat and visit. Breakfast was more than we could eat and comprised a lot of home cooked food including foccaccia, tarts, a wide selection of juices and great coffee. View form our bungalow was amazing and the pool was a very good size and really clean. Couldn't fault this place!

The host Jody was most helpful and fun and was most generous in providing 2 bottles of wine during our stay and plenty of local tips! The peace and quiet and the view were stunning. We both slept so well! The evening sunshine on the terrace was fabulous after a great day out.

Chincamea is a beautiful place running by the very nice family. Jody gave us a lot of useful advices and helped us with everything that we needed. The view is extraordinary and the room was very clean. Breakfast served on the terrasse is awesome, a lot of local and homemade food. We had a wonderful stay and I recommend highly to everyone.

The private bungalows are amazing. Very modern and nicely decorated, extremely spacious and the deck outside has this most amazing view that makes you want to stay at the resort instead of going out on all the many adventures that are very close by. Jody and his family are amazing hosts that will help with anything they can and with a smile on their faces. The breakfast that they serve every morning is a perfect symphony of flavours and will leave you full and satisfied all day! The breakfast alone; with lovely entertainment (the right amount, only friendly not too much) and an amazing spot with a view over the entire bay; sets Chincamea over the majority of hotels and B&Bs we have visited.

Hardly no complaints, read these as minor(!) inconveniences, the positives far outweigh the negatives. We did not read the description carefully enough and missed the part about needing a car to get to the hotel. For Swedes that do not drink and drive at all, not one glass, this was a big minus for us. The last night we decided to walk down the hill to the nearest restaurant and after take a taxi to the city center of Sestri Levante for drinks and taxi back. While the taxi was a little bit expensive in our opinion this is definitely an option for the ones that do not want to drive the car after dinner. For the first two nights we stayed in a regular room and in the second two nights we stayed in the junior suite. The difference is huge and I would highly recommend choosing the junior suite as this is a spacious and completely private bungalow that gives you an extreme sense of luxury. The regular room is not bad at all but the bed is not as comfy, the room not so spacious and the bathroom not as big or fancy. The breakfast, the view, the pool area and Jody and his family still make it a great place!

Location is far from any services or restaurants but it is a trade-off for absolutely amazing views over the village and the sea. Beautiful Sestri Levante center is still easy to reach and it takes only 10 to 15 minutes drive by car to get to the local shops, restaurants and small beaches. Atmosphere at Chincamea is tranquil and relaxed, and the breakfast is one of the best I've had in any accomodation. We couldn't have had better value for money.

Jody and his parents are awesome hosts! Great breakfast and fantastic view. Perfect place to relax!

The easiest 10/10 score I gave in my life. Cannot argue Antything. and Im a complainer. If anyone complains, they must encountered x/files experience. We had most beautifull Apartment that Can be choosed. That might boostes the score. But It was worth It. Staff (family) incredible. Atmosphere and hospitality awesome. Food - excellent. Seniora grazie ancora per le ottime colazioni. They will stuff you with great Food and they let you go just before you explode. Amazing view. Amazing silcencio. You Can charge battery well enough unless you want to have everything near the B*B. In this guesthouse you need to undersrand That you arę sleeping on the top of the mountain and coming Up/down is quite an adventure. Like we said - worth It.

The road uphill may be scary or difficult for some. But bring the faith and go on. Maybe loundry room would be another plus? Quite strecheted :). We liked It very much.

I would award more than five stars to Chincamea! Already on our Arrival, we're greeted so warmly, that we got the feeling to belong to the family! The bungalow was just fantastic (top view and stylish decor). The breakfast was magical. There were a large number of various regional products and the service of Jody and Giulia again just great (like everytime)! In general, the ambience was very nice, familiar, pleasant and especially very helpful. I just recommend it! We will sure come again many times!

Sehr schöne Architektur, tolle Lage, schöne Aussicht, Ruhe

- Appartement "Cozymama" und natürlich die Terrasse mit Aussicht - Kurze Wege an das Meer ... im Oktober noch warm genug ... und tolle Wandermöglichkeiten - Kurze Wege zu Ausflugsgebieten (Portofino, C.Terre, ...)

Leider ist der Pool schon arg kalt im Oktober ...

Die Lage und die Aussicht sind fantastisch. Das Ferienhaus DAOS, das wir gebucht hatten, war modern, großzügig, top eingerichtet, architektonisch interessant (Steht am Hang zum Teil auf Stelzen). Die Apartments sind für Paare ausgelegt, weniger für Familien. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit vom Massentourismus ist sehr angenehm. Man ist wirklich für sich und begegnet im und um den Gebäudekomplex nur sehr selten jemandem. Die Vermieter sind jederzeit ansprechbar und immer hilfsbereit. Wir glauben, besser geht es kaum.

Jody und seine Familie waren von Herzen freundlich - wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt! Der Pool ist nicht nur zum Abkühlen, sondern auch zum Schwimmen sehr gut geeignet. In der ganzen Anlage ist es sehr ruhig und man hat sehr viel Privatsphäre. Das Apartment (Zemma) war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten.

Erg fijn en ruim appartement met airco en alles wat je verder nodig hebt. Fantastisch uitzicht en een lekker zwembad. Vergeet ook de fijne host nioet en maak zeker gebruik van zijn tips voor de beste plekken voor strand, brood,, olijfolie, etc.

Niets. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om naar Sestri Levante en restaurants etc te komen. Maar ja daar staat dat uitzicht tegenover.

Posto stupendo immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità con una vista sul mare bellissima, se il vostro scopo è rilassarvi e volete avere privacy è quello che fa per voi. L'alloggio è dotato di ogni comfort, cucina ben attrezzata, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, letto enorme con materasso molto comodo, aria condizionata, bagno bello grande e doccia molto spaziosa, nel nostro caso anche l'ascensore. Le foto caricate della struttura parlano da sole, rispecchiano al 100% quello che troverete, anzi, la piscina dal vivo è ancora più bella e il tramonto impagabile. L'host è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fornito foto e descrizione dettagliate su come raggiungere il posto senza avere il minimo problema a trovarlo. Ho soggiornato la settimana di ferragosto, nonostante ciò ci sono sempre stati silenzio e tranquillità, anche la strada a salire per arrivare alla struttura è poco trafficata, ho incontrato pochissime auto.

La parte di strada finale per arrivare alla struttura è abbastanza ripida e stretta, ogni tanto dai lati della strada avanza fuori qualche sterpaglia che potrebbe rovinare la carrozzeria dell'auto se presa dentro. Nei giorni in cui ho soggiornato ho visto parcheggiate vetture di ogni genere, il percorso è fattibile per chiunque con qualsiasi mezzo, se avete un'auto grossa e/o sportiva però fate attenzione.

We zijn erg vriendelijk ontvangen door Jody bij aankomst. Het uitzicht vanuit onze accommodatie was schitterend en de faciliteiten in ons appartement overtroffen onze verwachtingen. De omgeving is erg rustig en je geniet van veel privacy

Er viel helemaal niks tegen! De weg naar de accommodatie is de eerste keer misschien een kleine uitdaging, zeker met een wat grotere auto, maar ook dat wordt beter naarmate je het vaker doet ;)

Architektonisches Highlight mit unfassbarer Aussicht und mit warmherziger und individueller und emphatischer Betreuung, high end!!! Salzwasserpool, Diskretion und Interieur machen einen Besuch hier perfekt!

Dass ich nicht öfter hier sein kann…

Odlična lokacija za raziskovanje Ligurije..Cinque Terre, Genova, Potofino..., Začeten vzpon iz glavne ceste (za dostop potreben avto), je poplačan s čudovitim razgledom na mesto in morje ob večerih čudovit sončni zahod. Apartma prostoren idealen za dve osebi. Imela sva svojo garažo ter dvigalo do apartmaja (luksus). V kuhinji vsi gospodinjski pripomočki, velika terasa z mizo, stoli in ležalnikoma. Zelo velika in udobna postelja. Izhod iz apartmaja na bazen, ki je bil po napornem dnevu prava osvežitev. V apartmaju naju je čakala dobrodošlica, penina in voda, ter malo darilo. Jody naju je lepo sprejel ter vse razložil prav tako je bil dosegljiv ter hitro odziven na najina vprašanja. Z njegovim očetom, ki je bil prav tako zelo prijazen in poln nasvetov na temo izletov ter lokalnih dobrot, dobila sva tudi steklenico lokalnega vina, ki je bil odličen, še enkrat hvala za gostoljublje. Če bomo še kdaj v Liguriji se vidimo, vsekakor zelo priporočam,
