This COULD have been a near perfect hotel. The room was nice, clean, quiet. The toilet had a bum gun. There was a little loft space in the room that provided a nice extra zone which was nice if two or more people were going to spend some time in the room. The balcony had a drying rack, and there was also plenty of space to hang closes inside as well. I would have loved to stay here again if it was not for the one problem the room had.

The room had a fatal flaw which was a light that could not be turned off. This is the first time in my life I had ever been in a room that had lights that could not be turned off. We searched the whole room for the switch, and found nothing and had to essentially sleep with the lights on the first night. The second night we asked the staff and they told us it could not be turned off and they gave us plenty of towels to cover the light. They sounded so used to people complaining about it. The guest needing to DIY a fix for problems caused by sloppy construction CRAZY! If I had wirecutters on me, I would’ve just cut the cable myself and ended it right there. I’m attaching a photo of the offending light. If it was just a dim nightlight, it would’ve been fine, but it was on max brightnes! So bright it lit up the whole room and was literally shining through my eyelids. The fact that someone thought a light you can't turn off was a vibe for a hotel room is WILD. Or did they just forget the switch and everyone was too lazy to fix it? I’m guessing not every room is blessed with this "feature." Why does every hotel in Taiwan have at least one curse? Is it required to get a hotel license? Make it make sense. This is exactly why domestic tourism in Taiwan is flopping.

絕佳位置！二樓以上就能看到南灣沙灘，穿過馬路就能踩在熱熱軟軟的沙灘上。前一位說老闆娘很美麗，確實是對的，老闆也長得不賴啊~ 呵呵。老闆做的早餐，很不錯吃喔！
