Le Clos de Lumière

The house is amazing, very clean and cosy. Enough space for belongings & suitcases. Herbal tea & instant coffee & a kettle in a room. The area is amazing. Beds are perfect and soft. Parking is free & perfect.

We appreciated the stay overall, and I would like to share two points that could help improve the guest experience. We booked two rooms for four people. One of the rooms was listed in our Booking.com reservation as having 2 bedrooms, and we selected and prepaid for it specifically so that two guests could sleep separately. However, upon arrival, we were asked to pay an additional €10 to have the second bedroom opened. This was unexpected, as the Booking.com description indicated two bedrooms at the time of booking. It would be helpful to clarify the room description and clearly state any additional charge for access to the second bedroom in advance. Regarding breakfast, it was the same each day: bread, butter, honey and jam, fruit, dessert, and either a small sweet yogurt or cottage cheese. Coffee from the drip machine was good, and tea was also available. However, there were no eggs or other savory options. As I do not eat gluten or sweets, my breakfast was usually limited to coffee, fruit, and occasionally cottage cheese. This may be perfectly fine for some guests, but for me it did not meet the expectations I had for breakfast.

Accueil chaleureux de Carl et Béatrice, dans un environnement préservé, en pleine nature, au calme, avec une jolie vue sur les montagnes. Chambre confortable et bon petit déjeuner varié à base de produits locaux. Enfin, nous avons reçu de bons conseils pour que le séjour soit agréable.
