    Responds very quickly to Whatsapp and email enquiry, even at night. Friendly staff, have all basic facilities, near to Piazza de Roma, convenient for taking buses.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this venue, though it may not everyone's cup of tea. If you prefer resort style accommodation, this is not it. It is quite basic, but clean, functional central to everything you want access to in Venice and just feels very authentic to the vibe of the neighbourhood. We enjoyed the simple communal breakfast hall to get the day started considering all cafes and restaurants are quite expensive. Staff were all wonderfully helpful. Really made our stay quite special.

    enice felt somewhat overhyped. While the city’s charm and uniqueness are undeniable, the overall experience was dampened by high costs—especially for water taxis, which are the main mode of transport due to limited public options. Our hotel was well-located, which made sightseeing easier, but the breakfast was quite basic and the staff seemed rushed. The room setup was more suitable for twin sharing than for couples, as the beds were separate. As for sightseeing, the Doge’s Palace, while iconic, didn’t live up to the hype—it felt more like a photo stop in the main square near the bell tower than an exceptional historical experience.
