The time I spent at Ryokan Yamashiroya was the highlight of my trip to Kyushu. The hosts and staff were warm and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Food was exceptional and there were four different baths to choose from. A wonderful relaxing time and I felt completely at home.

The host were very hospitable !
Try very hard to make the guest feel welcome and relax.
Since this is the first time in Japan, driving into the village, it’s a little bit complicated.
The parking it’s right off the highway and you had to walk down very steep stairs. A bit unnerving!
