Villa Martha had the wow factor from start to finish - beautiful villa set in amazing well maintained grounds, complete with pomegranate trees, lemon, orange and lime trees. Pool area was perfect, and breakfast was served outside on one of the pretty terraces.
The staff were helpful and polite, and the owner was so kind and friendly and rightfully proud of his beautiful home in Spetses.
Location was perfect, a short stroll along the seafront into the town, with a few good restaurants nearby.

Beautiful peaceful perfect for lazy holiday by the pool. Lovely gardens. Great people who run the villa and delicious breakfast outside every morning. A small pebbly beach is very close but preferred the lovely pool The owner so helpful and provided useful advice (and on one occasion gave us some oil re a painful knee -much appreciated)
Spetses is overrun by mopeds and bikes etc so care needed walking into town which is 15-20 mins walk but if all you want to do is pool by day and great tavernas at night in town then Villa Martha is a really great place to stay

the grounds were gorgeous, they are definitely the most appealing part of the experience. the bar is very nice as well and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
the bed was seriously uncomfortable. it’s two twin beds pushed together and hospital like blankets. not necessarily the hotel’s fault but all we could hear all day and night was children crying and at some points toddlers were out on OUR private balcony playing. overall very little sleep and privacy.
