I liked friendly and helpful owner, staff attitude, overall comforting experience, relaxed atmosphere. few minutes after arrival already feeling like coming "home". Great breakfast and morning coffee.

Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet geven😉: voor ons lag het iets te afgelegen. Het was nogal stil maar dat kwam ook omdat van de 6 kamers er maar 2 bezet waren toen wij er waren

Het is wat hoger gelegen en dat geeft een prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving, ontbijt was ook heel goed.

Voor ons was alles goed

Rooms were great. Food was ok. The Pool area was nice and clean, and had a fantastic view.

My main issue with our stay was the setting of expectations. Most of the facilities stated as "on the location" on booking.com was simply not there. I had a friendly talk with he owner about it. In his words, when you state whether you have something like Laundry service, Tennis etc. you can only say yes or no, and not choose e.g. "near by". So he chose to list a lot of facilities, because they were "near by". In his interpretation, anything within a 20 minute drive is near by. So if you are considering staying here, please check with the website, which facilities and services are actually available. In all fairness, I did not expect there to be a bowling alley or Tennis court on the mountain side, even though it's stated. But since it is stated, you would at least expect there to be some kind corporation and perhaps discount arrangement with a local provider. That was only the case for few of the services listed. But when you list Laundry service, you would expect them to be able to do your laundry at the place for a fee. They do not. We chose the place as a base to go on daytrips to nearby cities. I would not recommend the place for that, as it is a 15 minutes drive up and 15 minutes down every time you need to go somewhere (even the nearest supermarket). The place is not ideal for families with small children, and not super for families with big children either. I would however recommend it for couples using it for a 2-3 days romantic getaway, because the overall standard of the rooms is good and the view is macnificent.
