A Portuguesa Guest House

Location was excellent! Staff were super friendly and helpful and the room was clean and a great 1 person stay!

The room was on the smaller side - but okay for a solo traveller!

This place is just in the heart of the city centre. Everything is so much in walking distance. You save so much of your time money and energy. Spotlessly clean though toilet was in shairing but it was super clean all the time. AC was working

A little guest house a 30 minute walk away from the centre of Porto. The room was a twin and was basic but very clean. There was free shampoo and shower gel. The main door and the room were easy to access and check out was also a breeze.

The windows were very heavy and there was a warning about them. Not very guest friendly. The town was loud with partying and we had to have the window open because of the heat.

The bed was super comfy! Space in the room to move around, layout clothes. The staff was very friendly even though the woman at reception kept speaking to me in Portuguese, we had to use hand gestures to understand each other.

The pillows were thin and lumpy. The room was super clean on first glance but the bathroom was covered in mold (ceiling, in the shower, which leaks by the way). In the bathroom there was a cup near the sink, I assume for water, and it didn’t look like it had been washed… It’s an old building so I was expecting it wouldn’t be super proof, I could hear everything between floors, outside, etc. It was close to everything on foot BUT the street corner was insanely chaotic. I was woken up at least once a night by people yelling at the top of their lungs WITH earplugs and the windows& shades closed. Wifi wasn’t working half the time either.
