It was tranquil and the staff were amazing. Best pool I’ve ever had!! Stayed at other 5 star hotels and paid way more. They didn’t compare!! Beach was beautiful too

Great room size for families. Heathy breakfast options which also cater for different dietary requirements. Great evening entertainment for young kids. Beach is very clean, and less touristy than Phuket.
Gym is old and small with limited equipment.

Great breakfast, right on the beach
The kids pool and slides are dilapidated and not used at all. They even request children wear helmets on the water slides!! My kids wouldn’t use that pool saying it was spooky- I agree!!
Difficult to use bolt or grab from this location and quite far out of town.
Beautiful beach front restaurants just outside resort.

This was my 3rd stay at the property. The rooms are spacious and the pools are great and well maintained. They really do make you feel welcome especially as a returning guest. The pool bar is lovely and the member of staff working behind the bar recognised my husband straight away. (Even asked how many years this was we have been coming for)
This property has always been my favourite. On this occasion not so much.
we were not advised before arrival of building and maintenance work going on at the hotel. It is a little more expensive than other places in Khao lak and for this reason we split our time between 3 different hotels. This was meant to be our chill out property lazing around the pool and resting.
On arrival we went to the restaurant for lunch and waited 20 minutes to be served even though there were lots of staff and only us in the restaurant. The following day we went for a walk to the beach and upon walking through the grounds the smell from painting the floor was so strong it immediately brought on a migraine which lasted throughout the entire day.
The following day I got up and tried to brush off the last couple of days reminding myself of how good my experience at this hotel has been on the past occasions.
I was lying around the pool sunbathing and the noise from the work men was so loud and annoying I had to return to my room as I could not concentrate on reading my book.
