The location and original design was incredible as was the swimming pool and the spa facilities.

The hotel was like an uncared old lady that looked incredible in the 50s but somehow it had gotten older and forgot to fix her lipstick or dust her hat. The architecture is incredible, reminds a little bit of the Barbican back in the days, and the views are to die for. The staff and service is a little patchy, some nice personnel, some indifferent and too rude. Small things matter as not storing the swim caps, the waters of the towels behind the pool loungers or the women manning the spa chasing you in the spa where all men were naked to pay your bill. The breakfast is catered to locals and unless you like the soups, the options are limited. The place has great bones and almost worth it for the location, the pool and the dim sum restaurant but the nightly rate is too high for what the whole experience averages out to.

早餐選項豐富，各類品項表現良好。飲品有現打西瓜汁很讚.... 麵包類商品也都很不錯，另外有現煮擔擔麵、各類粥品，中西式餐點齊全。 游泳池超大，有深淺的設計很好（兼顧游泳跟玩水功能），景色完全是亮點。 房間空間很大且可以很好的保有隱私。床組很好睡～

如老飯店有的問題，設備較為老舊的感覺，房間內淋浴間的門下緣似乎沒有確實隔絕乾濕分離，水開比較大容易噴濺到外面木頭地板上。排水好像不太好，若改由花灑淋浴，水量的大小會造成淋浴間小淹水的狀態，加上剛提到的乾濕分離不完全，很擔心房間淹水..... 房內插座太少，雙床房卻只有一邊有提供插座。燈的開關老舊，上面的漆已經斑駁，依住宿本飯店的價格，會預期能得到更妥善維持的各類硬體設備。泳池邊的磁磚也看起來蠻斑駁的...。
