A beautiful hotel in a vibrant location.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the double height space where we had breakfast. I loved the exposed walls in the building including our rooms. Staff were really friendly and eager to help with all our queries. Konstantinos’advised my husband about getting treatment for a minor medical issue and he told us about a beautiful beach that we visited and loved. The location is fabulous - a 2 minute walk to the buzz of the town and magnificent restaurants and yet still peaceful.

The only negative for us was that the bedroom was on a mezzanine level which meant having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the night.

We really enjoyed the location, the building itself is really beautiful and unique. The included breakfast was a nice touch. The service was great and check-in instructions were detailed and clear. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We will definitely return.

Beautiful stay in Rethymno

The hotel is beautiful, breakfast was included and had a variety of offerings which were all delishus thanks to Elania. Location is superb. We had a rooftop terrace and spent quite a few evenings enjoying our Raki and enjoying afternoon sun. It was Constatinous and Katerina greeting us daily that made our day though. Lovely people.

Ticked all the boxes, location, style, service, food a repeat hotel.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town and within easy reach of most that Rethymnon has to offer a visitor. The building is beautifully restored and has a wonderful feeling. The mother and son (designer and architect) have done a great job. Service was great with nothing too much to ask and the breakfast excellent.

What a little gem of a hotel! The owners/manager were so helpful. The rooms are spacious and everything you need is in there. The location is only 2 mins walk to the centre of the old town. Practically everything is on your doorstep

Great location and the best staff Konstantin

The room was so spacious. Excellent bed, well equiped kitchen, great terace and delicious breakfast. The location was good, very close to restaurants, bars and a free parking area close to the port. Konstantin was very helpful, especially organizing dinner to popular traditional tavernas.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great location

The hotel and room were both incredibly beautiful, really well situated in the middle of the Old Town and the facilities were generally fantastic. Definite high points were the breakfast (which was delicious) and also Konstantinos, who was incredibly helpful right from the start and assisted us with organising airport transfers and excursions. The rest of the staff were also very nice and welcoming!

Would 100% recommend - a great stay!

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Konstantinos, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating - he even gave some great restaurant recommendations! The location was brilliant; tucked away in a quiet street in the Old Town, but only minutes away from shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The continental breakfast was delicious and we were offered eggs made to order every morning.

Comfortable hotel - walkable distance from the old town.

The owner was there to meet us as we arrived later than we originally stated. The room was very comfortable and spacious and fit our two children (9yr old and 11 yr old) very well. The hotel is very close to the old town section so you can walk to all of the restaurants and all of the shops and also the fort and the seaside. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent as well as it included a lot of local, traditional, Cretan options.

5 Stars – A Perfect Gem in the Heart of Rethymno! We had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Rethymno’s old town. The location is absolutely perfect — tucked away on a quiet, picturesque street, yet just a short stroll to fantastic restaurants, local shops, and the vibrant Venetian Harbour. Every corner of the old town felt like it was right at our doorstep. The hotel itself was full of character, beautifully restored with a lovely blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable — with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or a smile. We especially appreciated their local tips, which led us to some truly memorable dining experiences just minutes away. The beach is about a 20-minute walk, which we actually enjoyed — a leisurely stroll along the waterfront before reaching the long stretch of golden sand. All in all, a perfect base for exploring Rethymno. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and authentic experience in Crete.

Highly recommend!

Great location, near everything in Old Town. Filled with old charm. Great renovation job, Mother and son run the place and both are extremely helpful re restaurants and sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. Eggs can be cooked to order. We were very pleased with the options.

The only criticism have is that the lighting wasn’t bright enough for me.

Excellent - Would definitely recommend!

The owner greeted us on arrival and provided a map of Rethymno Old Town and recommendations for places to visit and good restuarants. He also assisted with the taxi transfer back to the airport. He was always available and happy to help. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious, with traditional Cretan fayre. The building itself is amazing. It is an architect designed conversion of an ancient Olive oil factory. The architect has retained the beauty of the original building, but enhanced it with all modern facilities. It was kept spotlessly clean and all staff were welcoming and friendly. This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

The only problem that we had was that the taxi could not get to the front door of the hotel, as it is in The Old Town area where streets are narrow. However, it was only a 2 minute walk from our taxi drop-off, and the hotel owner phoned the taxi company and arranged a suitable pickup point on our day of departure.

Really excellent boutique hotel

Located in a quiet lane of the old town, and yet just a (very) short walk from the more bustling part with its Taverns and shops. Historical buildings converted into a small but superb boutique hotel. Amazing, historical architecture. Our room was #9, actually like a penthouse apartment, including a very nice roof terrace with a view over the old town. Very friendly management, very professional and helpful.

Actually nothing to dislike, but to note: Hotel entrance cannot be accessed by cars (lane is too narrow), so luggage will have to be carried for about 50-60 m. Inside the hotel no elevator, be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the room.

Modern interior and good location within old Rethymno

This hotel was in a convenient location in the old town. We were able to park our rental car a short distance away at a paid lot nearby. Realistically the walk from the parking to the hotel was probably about the same as if you parked in a large Las Vegas casino hotel lot and had to walk across the entire lot. The interior is basically a modern building built inside an old one. Very modern throughout. The breakfast area was cozy and the food was delicious.

Unfortunately our room did not have good sound insulation from the noisy family staying in the room above. It often sounded as if they were in the room with us. Otherwise it was very comfortable.

Lovely little "bijou" in the middle of the old town

We were welcomed very warmly by the staff (who is always happy to help and chat) and were overwhelmed by the spacious and beautiful room with the high wooden ceiling and the ancient fireplace. There's a table with chairs, an equipped little kitchen, a sofa, sofa table and big mirror in the room - which makes you feel almost like at home. The breakfast area reminded us of a beautiful, ancient-modern Greek hall. We enjoyed the fresh and various choices at the breakfast buffet and really appreciated that we were able to have it already at 8am as we needed to leave early to catch our flight. We'd love to come back and can recommend this quiet, lovely accommodation in every way!
