Hotel Bríos

Gewoon een goede ruime schone kamer met prima bedden.

Wat er beter had gekund: geen idee.

The location was quiet, very basic room, with good beds, hot shower and fluffy oversized towels.

WIFI did not work in the room, only in the reception area. Room did not look like the photos, and while the beds were we’re not overly firm, the memory foam pillows were hard as a rock and made sleeping almost impossible without waking up with a sore neck… ended up, punching up my coat to sleep on Thought it expensive for a hostel like room. Had nicer rooms and more comfortable for the same price or less.

The hotel is quite new and has an interesting design in the lobby and breakfast area. The staff were helpful and the location is a little bit away from the main town centre, but there are shops and bars quite close. The rooms do not have AC but you can open fully all the windows and allow air to circulate and cool down the room somewhat. (it still was pretty hot in the room in August !). The breakfast was good with a variety of options.

We were given a twin room upon arrival (booked a double) and the staff needing some convincing to change our room. However after a long wait and one wrong key (resulting in entering a room that already had people!) this was changed (they gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience).
