Camping Village Poljana

Wir hatten für unseren Urlaub einen gemauerten Bungalow auf dem Campingsplatz gemietet, der wirklich keine Wünsche offen ließ. Wunderschön gestaltet, groß (mit schöner Terrasse und riesengroßem Bad!), gut ausgestattet und wirklich vorbildlich gereinigt. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Insgesamt hat uns der Campingplatz Poljana auch sehr gut gefallen, die wunderbare Badebucht ist einfach ein Traum.

Wenn man unbedingt einen Minuspunkt suchen möchte: Nicht ganz überzeugt hat uns der Küchenherd, zwei Platten hatten mangelhafte Leistung und auch die anderen waren so gewölbt, daß ein Kochen nicht ganz einfach war. Wir kamen damit aber gut klar und es hat die Urlaubsfreude nicht getrübt.

We stayed in a mobile home near the sea. There are plenty of different types and locations of mobile homes. Some are pretty far away from the sea side. Based on the style, mobile homes are older, but surprisingly well maintained. Everything was clean and working. Camp site is big and diverse, open space, shadows, everything. There are showers on the beach. Seaside bar has good morning coffee, food, and cocktails. Outside of the season the campsite was pretty crowded with camper vans, but still very peaceful and quiet.

Bed sheets and towels can be rented for a pretty significant price. (Or bring your own). Provided toilet paper is see-through thin. Pillows are small.

Restaurant war zu! Take away sehr reduziert - nur von der beach bar, keine Frische und kein Bio im Supermarkt, Straße durch den Campingplatz! zwischen ost und west Stränden, kein Fahrradstreifen durchgängig vom Campingplatz weg weststrand so nah zur Straße, laut! ,kein Sup oder Bootsverleih am Oststrand, kein Schneidbrett im Mobile home, langsamer Herd im mobile home!, kein blick aufs meer vom Mobile home und kaum sonne zum Balkon, stets schatten! (fast kühl / zu kalt in dieser Woche)

The camping is small, but there is a super market with bakery, a beach bistro and a cafe/gelateria in place. The staff is very kind and friendly. The aircon worked very well and cooled down the mobile home quickly. Our mobile home was surrounded by green and flowers. Easy and quick access to Mali Losinj.

There is no wifi in the camp. You can buy a 10-day unlimited SIM card in the shop for 15EUR, but the signal/connection was very week. On the camp beach, sun loungers and sunshade is available for rent only which is 23EUR per day (two beds and an umbrella). For reference, the same was 13 EUR on all fancy beaches on the island...no wonder why nobody rented them. The kitchen in the mobile home was very purely equipped! No small cutting knife or chopping board at all. Just basic stuff, like glasses, plates, cutlery, some pans and plastic bowls. The restaurant did not work as it was under refurbishment, but we could live with that. There is a tennis and small football court, but both are in very bad condition.
