Weekend Glamping Resort

We booked the L deluxe cottage, a couple of days before arriving for 3 nights for 2xadults and a 4-year-old Location 10/10 - right on the waterfront. Great views. 20min walk down to Salò where you can get boats onto the lake. Facilities 9.5/10 - swimming pools were great, never had any issues with sunbeds. The club set up was fantastic for the little one. Mini-market was great - good fresh items everyday. Accommodation 9.5/10 - our cottage slept 5, would’ve been a big tight for 5 imo, but was ideal for the 3 of us. Looks a bit tired from the outside, but inside was perfect, everything we would need and very clean. Couldn’t get the TV to work but didn’t try too hard and never enquired about it as were busy the majority of the time anyway. Staff 10/10 - EVERYONE, from the animation team, to reception team, to shopkeeper, to restaurant staff, to maintenance/gardening team were helpful, pleasant and generally incredible. Food/drink 8/10 - as mentioned, the mini-market was great and catered well for my vegan wife. The restaurant was good, pizzeria at night was excellent. I had steak one night which wasn’t the best - felt it was likely frozen and defrosted, perhaps not but was presented like that. Think if they shortened the menu but focussed more on those items it’d be better for them. Value 10/10 - we got a great last minute deal and could not complain about the value.

Nothing specifically, a couple of minor improvements could be made as suggested above.

The staff were so friendly the day we checked in and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in the XL cabin which was fantastic and loved the layout of it. The facilities for toddlers were 10/10. And the view from the pool and lunch was unbelievable.

The accommodation was tidy, and in accordance to the description. The variety of kitchen equipment was quite good. The staff was very friendly and polite.

We got very little amount of detergent for washing the dishes and they refused to give more, though we were 7 of us in 2 apartment for 5 days. We had to buy in the supermarket where the minimum amount was 750 ml. We left there the 99% of it, I hope the next customer will use it. We had to pay a 20 euro deposit to borrow a hair-dryer, as there wasn't any in the apartment. The bedrooms and the single beds were a little bit small.
