朝7時に事前精算の時のスタッフさんが 7時3分にフロントにスタンバイ、普通だと 前もってスタンバイしてるかと思います

朝食のバイキングはメニューも豊富でこれまで泊まったホテルの中ではもっともよかった

これは言っても仕方がないことであるが、建物の中が複雑でわかりにくかった

This place was very convenient for my hiking trip. I'm glad it was available so last minute. It met all my needs.

The bath tub and shower seemed kinda gross. It also had a weird sulfur smell, like rotten eggs.

Breakfast was extensive but very Japanese. Virtually no international choices. The quality was definitely good, without a doubt, but for us it was limited in choice w.r.t. non-Japanese options. Very peaceful location close to many hot springs and the hills. Beautiful scenery around, but make sure you have your own transportation, as the location is only close to a very small town and relatively remote. But it's an easy jump for day trips in the hills around with many interesting places to visit besides just hot springs. Great also for nature walks. The (Japanese) room was sizable - we were upgraded to that room as we could only book it originally for 1 night only due to availability. That was a well-appreciated gesture. The hot spring pool in the hotel is open early and until past 11 pm, which is nice option after a long day.

Breakfast starts early and no new arrivals after 08:30. Closes prompt at 09:00. Which means even if you're on a leisure vacation, with young kids and getting them ready you'll have to get up at the crack of dawn to ensure you don't miss breakfast. There should be a bit more flexibility there. Check out is at 10:00. Receiving a call at 10:01 because we were not at the front desk yet (having luggage and 2 young children to bring from different towers through different elevators) we found a bit insensitive. We were at the front desk at 10:05... Come on guys!
