Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. Perfect!

The location was great for us - quiet because it was outside the main town center, but close enough for a leisurely stroll right into the heart of Kalambaka. The place was beautiful - pomegranate trees and a lovely outdoor sitting area. The room was big, the bed was comfy, and the shower had hot water aplenty. We absolutely loved it there and will definitely stay there again when we return to Meteora!

The most beautiful place I've been to and such a cute place to stay at.

Very nice location near the bus towards Meteora and also near LIDL and a nice restaurant next to our house. We also lived near a beautiful church where we attended Divine Liturgy.

The Air Conditioner was a bit noisy and it took a while for us to find a good balance of cool vs hot.

sweet garden in front of our room, clean room, the receptionist was really nice and recommended us some great things and there is a big supermarket 3 minutes from the property!

we hoped that there would be a kitchen but due to covid it is currently closed. But the kitchen wasn’t marked in the description of the property, it is only in the pictures so that’s rather a mistake of ours than of sofia rooms.

Superb

It was spacious and clean, with more amenities than we expected (like silverware & dishes, a breakfast patio, and laundry wire outside). The location was easy to find right off the main road. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Good

The room were nice and clean. Each room had a fridge and some utensils to eat. The facility is in walking distance from the center where you can find lots of restaurants and cafes.

We were 2 families travelling together. One family with 3 kids under 10 and the other with 2 kids under 6. The family with 3 kids had to divide the family and sleep in 2 different rooms. There was no table inside the room and we had to take our breakfast/snacks in the table outside. However, being April, it was cold and eating outside was a bit challenging. In addition, despite the host being very nice an polite, she was not able to support us with any information regarding the area, possible places to eat, etc.

Would recommend!

The host was excellent with communication - allowed us to check in late. The location is perfect for exploring Meteora by car (probably also great on foot, but we didn’t do that). The room had a good-sized fridge and a few plates/utensils that were super useful for us.

Our stay was excellent! The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but for the (off-season) price, we were very satisfied! Also note it is on the main street into Kalabaka, so the road could be noisy during busier times, but we didn’t notice it.

Comfortable, roomy and friendly

Our host was waiting for us and had warmed the room up for our arrival. Sofia rooms was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking in front of the building. The room was large and comfortable and the hosts had given us plates and cutlery etc and a fridge even though it wasn´t a self catering room. A five minute walk to the town centre with plenty of food options, and the amazing scenery of Meteora was right behind us.

Good place to stay if you want to explore the Meteora area.

Nice property, clean rooms, friendly host. A good place to stop for few days if you want to visit Meteora's monasteries. Lidl is at 4 minutes walking distance.

Property is on the main road, so it gets quite noisy, even during the night. Not very close to town's centre, but nevertheless, Kalampaka is a small town, so the distances aren't that long.

Exceptional

We arrived very late (due to extreme traffic on the border) but our hosts were very understanding and helpful. Everything went smoothly, the rooms were nice and quiet. The place is very close to the monasteries by car. Would definately recommend staying here.

Superb

We spent at this accommodation only one night but it was a nice place to stay. I loved the garden in the front yard, a lot of shade to sit in. The host was very nice. We could leave our bags after check out. There was Lidl right in front of the house.

The terrace was to the back and facing a wall but since we didn't spend much time in the room we didn't mind. Just make sure if you're staying longer to ask for front facing room. It was a bit of a walk from the centre (15min) which wasn't a big problem but since Kalambaka is not a big place it is a bit far.

Comfortable bed, but there was a little bit of smell from mold - room was a little under ground. There was cool swing outside. There was an AC in room. Nice balcony.

Because room was a little underground, it was a little bit dark. Some utilities like glasses, cutlery and plates would be nice.

Nice place if you want to visit the Meteora Monasteries.

The place is wonderful (short driving) distance from the Meteora monasteries. The supermarket is a short walk (across the road) and town (with restaurants) is 5-10minute walk. Because the place is not in town, it is nice and quiet. We had an extra bed (double bed and a single bed) in our room, which made walking around the left side of the bed a bit tight. So we moved the extra bed towards the terras doors to make some room (so it blocked the terras doors a bit).

The bathroom of our room had a funny layout. There was a step right in front of the toilet, which was a bit inconvenient if you wanted to use the toilet. The terras was full of bugs, so we did not sit there. I think the terras at the front was better (although it was near the road). We would remove the extra bed, so you have more space to walk around the double bed. (We had the room in the back to the left). I saw that other rooms did have other lay-outs. So it depends which room you have.
