Very rarely do you get to stay in a venue that overwhelms on arrival, amazing venue!!

A lovely continental style breakfast, nothing was to much trouble if requested, very traditional fantastic setting, How often do you get to have breakfast in an authentic castle?

I can honestly say we couldn't find any issues with our stay However you must realise this is a real castle, there are some rough bits but that adds to the character. The drive to the location is a little off the beaten track but 100% worth it.

Lovely stay in a restored castle.

A lovely stay in an old restored castle in a beautiful little town nestled in the hills. Host was lovely and breakfast, although basic with bread, yogurt, coffee etc plentiful.

If I was being critical, host could do with a door bell as attempted to call out several times when we arrived and ended up having to phone.

It was built as a fort which made the stay more interesting than the usual chateaux. We had a comfortable room overlooking a wooded area with a stream running through it. Unfortunately we were not able to do the tour which would have been interesting. Marion ? was very helpful.

The dinner was expensive for what we got.

Room was great. Wonderful to be staying in a medieval castle. Lovely appropriate decor. Breakfast was basic; juice , croissants, jam , coffee

Th evening meal was outrageously expensive! 32 euros pp. For melon soup, one piece of chicken with buckwheat, no vegetable, cheese and a piece of dry cake for dessert, no cream or creme anglaise. Wine was extra too. Emailed the owner to point out that this was a rip off. No response.

A true historc site. Friendly joyful people and enthusiastic greeting by the Castle dog. Historic rooms with a beautiful sight. Absolutely stunning layout in medieval surroundings.

This is a very interesting place to stay. Quite different from most B&Bs! You are literally in a castle. The rooms are a bit worn around the edges but spacious and comfortable enough. The village is in a nice location in the hills.

It is quite chilly in winter until the electric heating kicks in. Dinner was nice but a bit expensive for what it was, especially if you do not drink wine. You may, or may not like having to share you dinner with other people.

Super séjour dans ce château magnifique.

Isabelle nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse, la chambre était très confortable et la douche très agréable . Le décor assez incroyable et unique.

Nous avons aimé le lieu atypique et d avoir séjourné dans un authentique chateau médiéval - ce fût une très belle expérience. Nous remercions Isabelle qui nous a si gentiment accueilli - nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir diner au château d excellents plats préparés par Isabelle.

Très confortable et joliment décoré, literie impeccable on a très bien dormi malgré les fortes chaleurs. Le château était très agréable, la propriétaire nous a très bien accueilli. Très propre et spacieux. Très belle expérience pour nous ☺️🙏

Bâtisse exceptionnelle remplie d histoire, très dépaysante. Lit très confortable. Visite de la salle de la justice et de la chapelle.

Belle ambiance médiévale

Une personne très sympatique est venue spécialement nous accueillir et nous présenter notre chambre car la propriétaire était absente. Nous avons eu une visite du château par la propriétaire. Petit-déjeuner copieux.
