The main building with family showers, kitchen, dining room with fireplace needs to be upgraded… Everything felt dirty, damaged and smelled cigarettes.

We spent two unforgettable days here. The tents and the hyttes are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The nearby beach area is full of scenic landscapes. They were really kind to us, and let us stay one extra day, without booking. Thank you Gl. Klitgaard Camping & Cottages for making our trip unforgettable!

Simple small house for 1 night

Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was shared, but big.The reception staff was very kind. There was a fresh bread in the mini market.

Only cold water in the house. Very old pillows, which are asking to be changed. Smelly bathroom near reception.

Beautiful location by the sea - nice walk through the dunes to the beach. Family farm, animals, friendly, great for small kids.

The beds were very (very) basic. And the rooms tiny. All was functional, and when the weather is good you're outside anyway, but if you have to stay inside, quite small!

It's quiet and peaceful place, with good facilities, very polite staff. Location is ideal for exploring Lokke and Rubjerg. Zhe basic staff like bread can be bought at the small store.

Very nice place with lots of things to see & do for kids. Lots of animals on the property! The beach is nice but prepare for a decent walk to reach it.

First encounter with Danish locks was not that successful, but that's on us.. (you need to first turn the handle up before the locks starts working).

Beautiful Setting

We had a great stay at this campground, especially considering its wonderful surroundings. Very convenient stop on your way to Norway - our kids loved the supercool playground and the animals!

The price may confuse a little as electricity and cleaning are added afterwards.

A wonderful 3 night family short break in a lovely area.

We stayed in a luxury hut with wood burning stove in the autumn holidays. (Couple with 8 year old) Great location with lovely walks in the area AND a mini zoo on site! If you or your child loves animals then try and go to one of the "feed the animals" mornings. We had our own bathroom in the cabin so did not use the public facilities, but our hut was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. The weather was great and there is plenty to do in the local area. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a real "can do" attitude here.

It was a shame that we only stayed for 3 nights as we needed a bit more time just to be "home" at the cabin and enjoy the campsite.

There was a small mini zoo, and they had islandic horses. The staff was beyond helpful, and the huts were very comfortable.
