Very nice accommodation in an optimal location. The staff was overall kind, welcoming and very responsive ( a special 'Tusen tack' to Cicci, Josephine as well as to the nice lady who answered my night call and who took care of breakfast during the weekend). For those who are not used to it, shared bathrooms can be a tad taunting, but it ended up working fine. The room was simple but lovely with a view on the terraces. Great coffee and good quality breakfast. As a solo female traveller relying on public transportation, I felt very safe. I recommend this B&B and I would come back next time in Borgholm.
Some of the information was either not updated ( e.g. the 23:00 curfew listed on Booking.com is inaccurate as there is no curfew. This misinformation might have cost the B&B some potential clients), or had discrepancy in different languages ( e.g. in the 'welcome guest binder' in the room, the latest checkout is stated as 11:00 AM in the Swedish text, but 10:00 AM in English version), or was not clearly communicated ( e.g. that guests could use their keys for back entrance after 11 PM- this info should have been given at the time of check in or written in the 'welcome guest binder' in the room. I even took the time to send a message before arrival asking for such modality and it was not explained). As a suggestion ( and not a deal breaker), B&B guests could be considered receiving a small/symbolic discount at the on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Centralt läge, ändå tyst och lugnt! Välstädat! Välkomnande! Väldigt mysigt och genomtänkt! Bra service vid sen incheckning! Gott och rikligt utbud vid frukosten! Trevliga frukostvärdinnor!
Wi-Fi strulade mest hela tiden, men vi var inte så mycket på rummet ändå!
