About this house rental
This executive standard, newly refurbished 2 story property features spectacular views over Encounter Bay. The house has 4 bedrooms ( 4 queen sized beds) and will sleep 8 adults. There are 2 bathrooms and toilets. The house has a modern rear deck overlooking the bay. The deck is set up for out door dining and relaxing. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and dishwasher. The house has a generous rear yard with fencing and gates as well as BBQ facilities.
The living area is delightfully decorated and also overlooks the bay. It has a Smart TV. A Blue Tooth speaker is also available.
The house has evaporative air-conditioning as well as heating.
The laundry has a washer and dryer.
The house is a short walk to the beach, the bluff, Whalers Inn, the Beach House café and Yilki's store.
There are 2 golf courses in the local area.
Linen can be supplied through a local supplier at an additional cost.
Additional cleaning fee of $95 is required at time of booking.
Minimum rental 5 nights during school holidays and 3 nights during long weekends.
The person responsible for the booking must be over 21 years of age and in attendance at all times. There must be at least 2 responsible adults (21 year of age or older) staying at the property during any rental.
The property is not available for parties or gatherings.
There must only be a maximum of 8 people on the property at any time.

Lovely property in a nice area. We loved the beautiful deck overlooking the ocean and the natural light inside the house. Well equipped and lots of space for our family. Excellent communication from Eamonn and easy check-in and check-out process. We'd definitely love to visit again 🙂

This is a great property. We didn’t want for anything in the way of crockery/cutlery/glassware etc, the house was nicely furnished and decorated and that view from the ample-sized deck! Needless to say we spent many hours out there!
The owner was great to deal with and provided some great tips on what to do and where to eat.
The only downside was the hot water system which due to its size meant only 2-3 of us could shower in the morning or at night. We knew about this before we went but given most people prefer to shower in the morning, this was a little inconvenient. We ended up having to take turns on who would shower in the morning or wait until later in the day. For this reason I would be reluctant to book the house again for more people than the five of us.
And while we were advised to bring our own linen, the fitted queen sheet we brought did not fit the bed we used even though it fits our queen bed at home. It's possible the bed is a non-standard size. Recommend bringing both a fitted and flat sheet just in case the fitted sheet doesn't do the trick.
But those things were fairly minor issues. If we have the opportunity to return in the future we certainly will.

We chose the property for the closed in backyard for the kids and the balcony with the amazing views for the adults. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The house was well equipped and owner very helpful.Our only suggestion would be to look into a safety gate at the top of the stairs.
