First of all it is in a perfect location to explore the old town, walkable to the harbour and the Remblai, and has its own secure car park. That made it our choice.
But then we also received a very friendly welcome and discovered our modern room with a view of the old buildings and roofs. And finally we had an excellent breakfast in the charming vintage salon.
a small issue that the door to the bathroom would not shut completely.

Location
No parking available for a motorbike even though Booking.com listed parking available. Had to spend €17 and a great deal of time parking across town in a multi storey.

The staff at the reception is incredible! We were there to celebrate the Birthday of my little sister and they kept for us a bottle of Champagne and a cake to bring it at the right moment! They made a huge difference to the place, welcoming, very helpful, dedicated and lovely.
It was supposed to be a room with balcony but it wasn't, playing with words as it was a small room giving access to the toilet.

Great, secure parking. Very close to the sea front. Tea and coffee facilities. Quiet location. We like to see old buildings renovated and used for accommodation, etc.
Small room. Tiny bathroom, with poor access to the toilet. Leaky shower, putting water all over the floor. No access to the roof, or SPA area. Didn't match the publicity description, at all. Reception manager a little brusque in attitude.
