The Forest Country House B&B

I really liked the room. It was traditional, which was really nice. It reminded me of an old family home in good condition, and is different to a mass produced hotel. There is a lot of character, and you can walk round the gardens at the back for some fresh air in the evening if needed. Right amongst the hills. It was a lovely break from the city life, exactly what I was after, and reasonably priced. Don't expect a 4 star hotel with swimming pool and spar, etc., but the place has a lot of charm and a lot to offer for the price. It was actually quite an interesting place to stay in, with a lot of history if you start having a brief look round the grounds, etc.

Very peaceful, the surrounding area around the property was kept really nice. It was lovely to see the wildlife. The views from the windows where beautiful. Walking around outside and sitting in the garden was lovely

Set in remote countryside a large spacious property surrounded by woods and fields

It has clearly seen better days: the room we were shown into was smaller than expected but quiet and comfortable

Characterful

Set in beautiful location
