Would definitely stay again

Breakfast was excellent served by the host, Paul. He made me very welcome, advised local amenities etc. The room was warm and comfortable, considering how cold it was outside!

Quiet, countryside away from town, good parking. Old style property.

The breakfast was a cost option which we took the first day, whilst getting to know the area. It was an interesting older property and in many ways a classic B&B, the main likes were: plenty of safe parking, quiet location, countryside views. Out of town so ideal to get away to areas of mid Wales.

It seemed that over recent years the money had been spent renovation the property, so an eclectic mix of items. For example, one large tea cup and saucer then one small tea cup.

The house was so lovely. Easy to find with great instructions. Room was lovely and bathroom was massive. Clean, tidy, quiet. Even had a tennis court in the gardens. The staff were lovely and would definitely stay again

The WiFi was a little hit and miss. Kept cutting out on my phone so might of been my device. Work good on laptop

Like being allowed to stay in a National Trust property!

This is a place for those who like the country house experience - not quite a stately home , but the definite feel of a late Victorian gentleman’s estate, complete with the suit of armour in the hall. The rooms are furnished in this style - don’t expect the new luxury of a corporate hotel, but it’s very comfortable. The setting and grounds are a highlight. Breakfast is traditional - not a buffet - and all cooked to order and served by the owner.

There is a guest sitting room, but it is a bit overcrowded with a pool table etc - no doubt an attraction for young families, but not ideal otherwise.

Rural retreat. Nice surroundings

Lovely place - very rural. Great for a retreat. I needed to get to work, so a little out of the way and had to travel to get some food on arrival.

Aldi/Lidl toiletries which I'm allergic to - luckily brought my own.

Interesting and relaxing location

Very interesting building. It was also very close to the place I was working and the room was a very good price compared to other B & Bs in the area. The owner's were very polite and friendly.
