Xemxija Bay Hotel

The hotel was in a convenient location with easy access to taxis and ride-sharing services. The swimming pool was great, and the bar and restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The indoor breakfast restaurant was ideal for the mornings, with a good selection of food. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely presented.

Our room didn’t have much of a view—we were facing a wall, I think you have to upgrade in order to have a nice view. It wasn’t a major issue since we spent most of the day out exploring, but having a balcony or a nicer view would have made it more enjoyable to relax in the room. We also experienced a few water shortages during our stay. This was frustrating, as we sometimes had to wait several hours for the water to return before we could shower and head out. Finally, the power sockets were positioned a little awkwardly. There was only one socket beside one of the beds, while the other person had to use the desk sockets to charge their devices. It would be much more convenient if each side of the bed had its own power outlet.

Nice part overlooking Xemxija Bay. Good access for buses just outside the hotel into St Paul’s Bay. Decent shower.

It was a bit on the loud side 4-5 am in the morning when ongoing party goers came back after a night out. It’s not for someone who is looking for a lay in.

It was very clean place, very nice staff (Riahd) very accommodating and helpful to all our needs..

Check in was smooth and the property was clean

The pool was so busy that we could not get seated at all, but this was because the hotel sold and reserved spaces for day guests and these were prioritised over hotel guests. Surely we have paid for the use of the pool when we chose a hotel with a pool rather than a cheaper hotel with no pool.
