Rosedene Guest House

We had a lovely welcome from our host, Tracey. Her guest house was conveniently located with ample parking. Our en suite room was clean, comfortable & had it's own patio which was peaceful & quiet. We had plenty of choice for breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Thank you Tracey, we are looking forward to staying with you again :D

Fantastic spacious room with proper en-suite bathroom and a beautiful patio. Very comfortable and everything in pristine condition. The owners were wonderful, fabulous breakfast. The location was very close to all the best beaches as well as the lovely seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot

Some very narrow windy roads to get there but the owners suggested a different route which was much easier

Good location, good parking, lovely access to garden area direct from bedroom. All rooms on ground floor. Spacious bathroom.

Lovely guest house in a quiet village with a beautiful garden, and friendly hosts. I wasn't driving and had got the train to Pembroke Dock, and then a 15 minute bus ride to Hodgeson Square, very close to the guesthouse. I had the four poster room which was delightful, with a really comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. The room's french doors opened onto a small patio area with seating next to the fish pond. Everything was spotlessly clean with lots of storage space, including a closet to hang clothes and store bags away. WiFi seemed good too, and a nice selection of different teas as well as hot Chocolate and coffee in the room. There is also a small fridge in the reception area which I found very useful for storing snacks I'd brought for my 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice: cooked breakfast including veggie as well as cereals, toast & jam, yoghurts and a gorgeous fruit salad. A quiet lane from the guesthouse takes you on a 20 minute walk to Jason Road where you can pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast path and get down onto Freshwater East beach (total time to the beach from the guesthouse - 40 mins, strolling). The beach is truly beautiful, and rock pools are teaming with life, including little fish and sea anemonies. Even though it was a hot weekend, the beach was relatively quiet. Lots of little nooks and caves to explore at the base of the cliffs.

There aren't many restaurants or cafes nearby. It's fine if you have a car because you can travel further afield, but the couple of places within walking distance require booking in advance. There is a petrol station nearby which has a shop though.
