We had a truly lovely stay. You can immediately tell that Tracey and her husband have put their whole heart into this guesthouse, it’s full of care, character, and thoughtful details.
Tracey was exceptional in looking after us. She was so warm and attentive, made delicious breakfasts, and really ensured we had everything we needed. She also gave us great dinner recommendations and was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The house itself has a unique, quirky charm, with lots of lovely touches that make it feel special and homely. We especially loved the patio overlooking the old church, such a peaceful and beautiful spot. The breakfast area also felt so special, we loved every careful detail of it.
The area is quiet but very charming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We’re very grateful for the experience and would absolutely return when we’re next in the area.
The village is tiny so you do need a car to get around but again it's not something we didn't like, but something to look out for instead

The hosts are excellent. The service is so to such high standards that I have made this B&B a place I like to return. I like how attetion to detail is presented to the guests

Breakfast was good and well cooked, but could perhaps do with a little update.
an offer of omelette, cheese mushroom ham may well have given more variety and avocado and sourdough bread bringing the breakfast more in line with today’s pallet
Although the bedroom was delightful, the four poster bed mattress was extremely bouncy despite the topper and being used to a larger bed at home caused an extremely uncomfortable first night, however we did adjust and were pleased with our stay.
Two case stands would have made unpacking easier.
And although a rubber mat was provided for the shower over bath, a hand grab bar would have been very helpful and given greater security to the bathers
A net curtain over the patio doors would also have given privacy from the Garden rather than having to close the curtains as we undressed.
