La Stube de Marinette 5 étoiles

We travelled as two families (four adults and three children) and La Stube de Marinette could not have suited us better. Caroline and Jean’s genuine pride in their home shone through, and they were helpful even before our arrival, sharing local tips and offering to book a restaurant as we were due to arrive late. They also left us a basket of fresh bread and croissants on our first morning! The beautifully restored house blends Alsatian charm with modern comforts: spacious bedrooms, a bathroom for each room, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful essentials already stocked. Hippsheim is peaceful yet brilliantly placed for Strasbourg, Colmar, the wine‑route villages, and Europaparc (40 mins). We felt cared for every step of the way. Five stars and highly recommended.

Friendly and helpfull owners.

Caroline and Jean made sure we felt super comfortable in their former family house, which they had recently renovated and refurbished in a beautiful and cosy way. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the garden with a big table offers sun and shade alike. The forest close by has some beautiful walking and running trails, and Strasbourg is just a 20min drive away.

The town doesn't provide for any shops nor bakery so you have to go shopping by car. Some cushions for the outside furniture would be nice to have.

Lovely set up, very cozy house, hosts very nice and helpful with everything and more! We would like come back many times more as we had a lovely time ♥️ Very close to many beautiful towns to see, also close to Strasbourg! The house is more beautiful than in pictures 😍
