The home is located in a residential, family friendly neighborhood in sunny Walnut Creek CA. Walnut Creek is accessible by BART train to both the Oakland and San Francisco International Airports. The home is a short, easy walk to a park, local shops, restaurants, supermarkets, a weekend farmers market, a local brewery once featured on the food network channel and miles of biking and hiking trails. The world class shopping and dining mecca of Walnut Creek is a short 10 minute drive. As is Mt Diablo State Park and Boundary Oaks Golf Course. With easy access to the freeway, San Francisco is about a 40 minute drive and the Napa Valley is about an hour drive from the home.
The home is well equipped and exceedingly comfortable and clean. It is tastefully furnished with a charming mix of vintage and traditional furniture.
Downstairs you will find a quiet and private office with a large built in desk and cabinetry. The office has a large skylight which keeps the room light and bright all day. The large combined living and dining room has a cozy gas fireplace and french doors leading to the backyard. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and a large closet. There is a full bathroom located right next to the bedroom. The laundry room is equipped with a Maytag washer and dryer. The kitchen is always bright due to a large bay window and skylight. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic essentials needed for meal preparation during your stay. It has granite countertops, all stainless steel appliances and an excellent 6 burner Thermadoor gas range to more than meet all your cooking requirements. The kitchen is adjoining a comfortable family room with, a dining table and chairs, a sofa and two armchairs, a fireplace and a TV with cable and Tivo. There is access to the backyard through French doors. There is plenty of room for kids to play with a large bonus room adjoining the family room. There is a highchair to accommodate toddlers.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The large master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, cable tv and tivo, loads of closet and storage space. The sparkling ensuite bathroom has granite countertops, double sinks, a large jetted tub and a separate shower. The remaining two bedrooms upstairs are both furnished with comfortable full size beds and have plenty of closet space. Each room has a roll out bed to accommodate an extra guest if required. The 2nd bathroom upstairs has a granite countertop, double sinks and a shower over the tub. There is a pack’n’play crib for infants & toddlers.
The large private backyard is a fully landscaped leafy oasis. It has a great solar heated pool enclosed within secure fencing. There is a lovely gazebo with lots of seating to relax in and enjoy the view. The back yard also has a nice lawn and paved areas to enjoy.
The home has a fully accessible attached 2 car garage. There is also parking in the driveway and on street parking. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. This is a strict no smoking and no pets home! Thank you.
