Enjoyable Stay in a Beautiful Setting

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and always helpful, which made us feel welcome from the start. The room was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was a highlight, perfect for families like ours. Overall, it was a lovely place that we’d be happy to return to.

While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that could be improved. The halls are beautiful, but unfortunately, we noticed quite a lot of spider webs. The food was decent, but during the busiest breakfast time, the buffet often ran empty, and it took a long time to be refilled. Also, it was a shame that breakfast was not allowed to be eaten outside. Early in the morning is the freshest time of the day, so it felt like a missed opportunity to enjoy the lovely outdoor area.

If you take a bike ride from Timișoara to Zrenjanin, this locations is perfect to stay one night!

The castel is near the Bega canal and the old catholic church from Ecka, and has a big and nice park. Also, you can get to Ecka from Zrenjanin by bike on the lane, as I did.

You should insist on a better cleaning of the rooms and baths. Also, you should have the menu from the restaurant not only in serbian but also in english, romanian and hungarian.

A disappointment.

The building and the park around it are really beautiful. The breakfast was delicious.

Not recommended at all during the peak of summer because of the lack of air conditioning in the building. It gets super hot in the rooms at night. It was almost impossible to fall asleep for us because of that and because of the old bed that kept cracking every single time someone made even the slightest move. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the bedding - worn out. On top of that, only early in the morning we realised that there are major repair works going on right under the room’s windows. The workers came at 8:00 and quite naturally started shouting, drilling, etc. even though it was Saturday. It would have been really great if someone at least bothered to inform us to expect that but no. Also, note that the restaurant is rather overpriced.

An unique and charming place.

Lovely architecture, spacious rooms. An intimacy that you rarely get in new hotels. Old historical vibe. Very good noodle soup.

Bathroom needs some improvements, especially the shower.

The food is not what it used to be, we used to come here often for the food and private lunch with family but this year, all is changed. The service in restaurant also was not as it used to be, long delays. The room and also the restaurant was full of dead insects The bathroom needs some improvement

Highly recommended, an unexpected, mysterious and magical place with its history!

arrived at the hotel late in the evening, were pleasantly surprised by the majestic hotel itself and the hospitality of the staff (arrived late in the evening), the kitchen is open until late and very tasty food for children and adults. in the morning we walked around the territory with pleasure, there is where to spend time with and without children. Highly recommended, an unexpected, mysterious and magical place with history!

perfect accomodation for relaxing time!

everything was perfect! large room, fully equipped with everything you may need, from robe and slippers to tooth brush. Perfect buffet breakfast, very good restaurant, very nice personal, very nice location in the middle of beautiful park. I go in Zrenjanin area several times per years, I always choose Kastel Ecka for accommodation and i was never disappointed!
