Kiahuna Plantation 153 is a one bedroom condo sitting on the first floor at the end of the building with open air shutters on three sides, letting ocean breezes blow through. The beach is a three minute walk to the loveliest white sand beach on the South Shore. Looking from the lanai deck, you will see expansive green space and the iconic Twin Bridges, the cross-roads of the property. The view from this elevated private deck allows perfect solar orientation for morning sun and afternoon shade.
All new mango wood furniture faces the open living area and the flat screen TV hanging over the custom-built cabinetry. All standard amenities have been replaced with barware/stemware from Crate and Barrel, dinnerware from Pottery Barn, and silverware from Sur Le Table. The completely remodeled kitchen features granite countertops, and custom-built mahogany cabinetry with seed glass doors – and all stainless steel appliances. The flooring displays an island motif in porcelain tile from the front door to the lanai deck.

We completely fell in love with this condo and location! My husband and I had both been to Kauai before and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Right before we got there we were somewhat regretting not doing the Hyatt but I’m so glad we did the Kiahuna instead. This time we came for a week for a friends wedding. We wanted something more laid back where we could cook our own food and entertain friends. This particular condo was nicely updated. It is well stocked with everything you could need. Iron and ironing board, fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer came in handy when we got super muddy from hiking. The unit may not have an ocean view but is steps away from the beach. My only recommendation is more fans! There was a tower fan but the smaller fan was broken. Across the Main Street is the Little fish coffee co and Poipu beach athletic club which we went to almost every day to workout. Our only regret is not having more friends over and taking advantage of the BBQ area. Well managed property - if the owners ever consider selling - hit us up! :) We hope to stay there again soon!
