About this cottage rental
Stunning location, remodeled from the ground up compound has 216 feet of deep water frontage at the entrance of the Little River cove. Great views from every room. Deep water dock and float; a quick trip to the open ocean, a salt water hot tub spa at waters edge and a covered porch with fireplace for evening relaxation and socializing. The compound consists of 2 buildings connected by outdoor spaces.
The main house has an open floor layout with living, kitchen and dining as well as a queen size bedroom with ensuite bath (and laundry) on 1st floor; 2 bedrooms with ensuite baths are on the second floor accessed through a narrow spiral staircase. The 2nd building, the Boathouse, has a queen size bed, full bath, living area with couch, kitchenette and fireplace as well as an outdoor deck.
A truly awesome spot, any closer to the water and you would have to be on a boat!

What a great stay on the water. Beautiful views and well stocked property. Three bathrooms with a group of adults was so convenient! The boathouse was a perfect stay for our in-laws to provide privacy yet still be with the family.

This is our second time at this home. Honestly we just cannot say enough. You don’t even need to leave this house. Everything you could ever need is right there. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much to the hosts for opening up this amazing gem of a house for us to share.

The owner went above and beyond with all the little touches at the house. For example, he had fall down hooks near the hot tub to make sure you had a place to put your towel.He had sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and all of the necessities for the fire pit. You had access to kayaks.. He was accessible when I needed him. He also had filtered water available. It was a great experience and the views cannot be properly captured with just a picture. They were so beautiful.

In a really good location. Clean and fully stocked with all the essentials. Quiet and peaceful except the occasional turkey. Almost every morning you can sit out on the deck and watch the fisherman haul in lobster traps and in the evening the turkeys come flying back. You can have a kayak delivered to your dock. Overall a wonderful vacation that we hope to repeat sometime.
My only suggestion would be a small book containing information. Things like linen expectations, handle between wall and washing machine needs to be in down position for water, etc. Most these things you easily figure out as you go but would save a little time.
