We appreciate socialist architecture and like this building and hotel, so we wanted to experience staying there. We were aware that it an old building and that the hotel hasn't been renovated in a long while - so there were no surprises there. The bathrooms are quite dated; however, the linen and towels were fresh and clean and the staff extremely kind and welcoming. Also, for the very affordable price, it was a decent stay - so all in all we got what we expected and were satisfied with our stay.
The 360 degrees panoramic view from the top of the hotel is magnificent!! It was the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, since the restaurant on that floor is closed, this may no longer be a part of the hotel in the future, which we find will drastically reduce the value of the stay.
Note that the hotel is in the center of the town and at least on the weekend during high season, you may hear an unintelligible mix of extremely loud dance tunes coming from various bars nearby, long into the night. That was a true downside since we had to keep our window closed to have more calm, and the extreme noise went on even after midnight.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good view.
Some guests complained here about untidy or unrenovated rooms. That’s definitely not the case, I enquired about this topic during my stay. All rooms are in the same condition.

I reserved the room first and then checked the reviews, and I got worried for cleanness problem, what did I do? But, after my stay I really don’t get any comment about rooms not being clean - everything was spotless! The hotel is situated on the two upper floors of a residential building in the very center of Trstenik. The original flats were divided into smaller units, so sometimes shapes of the rooms may look a bit odd, but apart of that an extensive renovation seem to be done - i.e., it is not an original furnishing from ’80. The beds were comfortable, the room just the right size, and the view was spectacular. The ladies at the desk were fantastic! In case I need again short stay in Trstenik, this is clearly a preferred option.
Maybe it should be clarified that the parking available is a public parking space where one needs to pay Mon-Fri 7-20h, Sat 7-15h. But if you talk to locals and ask, you will be directed to the place within an easy walking distance where you can stay for free.
