Palmento House Amazing View and Private Mini SPA

When we arrived we were very kindly welcomed and also helped with directions as google maps is not really good in that area. The drive up to the house is easily doable once you are a little bit used to sicilian streets. We could contact the hosts at any time and they were available on the spot if needed. We felt very safe in the house, too. The next town Presa is just a 15 minute walk from the house and by car it takes around the same to get down to the sea. We also visited Taormina which is a 30 minute ride, to the airport in Catania it takes approx. 1 hour. The house is located on the spurs of etna, so activities there are easily doable and you are in the right spot for daytrips all along the eastern part of the island. The house itself is a gem, we had such a good time there! When we sadly had to leave after 5 nights, we felt really relaxed but also had a perfect mix of nature, culture and adventure. Quick overview of the most important facts of the accomodation: View - stunning! with great sunrises from the big terrace Kitchen - big and well-equipped, there even is a pizza oven Shower - awesome (water is hot and it has nice pressure) Sofa - extremely comfortable! Fireplace - amazing, we had it running almost every night (also more than enough wood behind the house for longer stays) Bed - comfortable and warm (there is an extra heating blanket if needed), also if you close all shutters, it's really dark in the house, perfect for sleeping in Whirlpool - super relaxing, private + stunning view as well Wifi - very good! Extras - it's very clean, there are basics to cook with in the kitchen (like Oil and spices), there is a washing machine, the outdoor shower next to the jacuzzi is hot as well We did not miss anything and we even received a gift both when arriving and when leaving the place because Rosy and Aldo are the most adorable people!! Don't miss out on an incredible experience!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo presso Palmento House della signora Rosy. L'accoglienza e la preparazione hanno superato le nostre aspettative. La casa era accogliente, calda, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort, la signora ha preparato prima del nostro arrivo la Jacuzzi riscaldata e il camino pronto da accendere. La casa è molto bella e arredata con cura, immersa in un paesaggio suggestivo, che regala pace e serenità. La strada per raggiungere la casa è un po' impegnativa, con salite ripide e strade strette, ma la signora Rosy insieme a suo marito ci hanno fatto strada dal paese di Piedimonte etneo fino alla casa. Abbiamo potuto passare uno splendido capodanno, rilassandoci nella jacuzzi e godendo dei comfort della casa. Siamo stati accolti anche con una bottiglia di prosecco e dei pasticcini e abbiamo salutato la signora Rosy e suo marito ricevendo addirittura un bellissimo regalo. Torneremo sicuramente, in coppia e con gli amici!
