About this apartment rental
"Casetta Eva" is a spacious self-contained apartment offering a comfortable and secure stay in Napoli. Located in a period building from C1900s, within a 'parco' (gated group of buildings) with 24 hour security guard. The apartment is set on the 2nd floor and has many classical Neapolitan features. Access is via the buildings original elevators.
The main building is in a raised location, set back from the road offering a tranquil setting, yet close to 2 of the funiculars that run between the historic parts of Naples and Vomero, the quarter above. The closest is the 'Funicular di Chiaia', just a couple of minutes walk. Within 5-10mins walk is the 'Funicular Centrale'. Either can be used to connect to the 'Funicular Montesanto' to arrive directly into the heart of Centro Storico (historic centre) to visit the Duomo (cathedrale), 'Spaccanapoli' famous street and other sites.
Places further afield such as Pompeii, Ercolano, Capri, Ischia, Procida can be easily reached used public transport - funiculars, metro, train..
Within easy walking distance of the apartment are numerous shops (food, clothes, etc), pizza and other restaurants. There is also a bus services.
Our quartiere (neighbourhood) is called Chiaia and the parco is on one of the main roads that runs right across the hill facing the Bay of Naples, approx 11km. We can be easily reached by public transport (Metro and Funicular) or taxi; 20mins from the train station and 25min from the airport.
The accommodation includes: Living room with double sofa-bed and dining table/chairs; bathroom with shower; separate bedroom with double bed; kitchen area with washing machine.
We like greet the guests on arrival and perform all checkin/checkouts and can offer advice and info to help make your stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay in Naples in this beautiful apartment and felt very welcome from the outset. Naples is a hectic city and the Neapolitans live life in the fast lane. Watch out for the mopeds flitting everywhere!
We enjoyed visits to Sorrento, Pompeii and Herculaneum (we used the Campania Express train), walking along the seafront from Mergellina, a peaceful day in Paestum amongst the Greek temples and several days exploring Naples and its impressive buildings, varied museums and busy streets. Food was plentiful, cheap and tasty and we had fun eating our way around the Centro Storico.
The apartment is in a well located residence in the Chiaia district and easy to reach from the main railway station using the metro and funicular.
With excellent facilities and plenty of space, the apartment is clean, well maintained and equipped and has a very comfortable bed. A short walk took us into the heart of the Chiaia district and we felt very much at home in the neighbourhood. John and Paola were brilliant hosts and provided many hints, tips and suggestions to help us plan our days. They were especially kind when we locked ourselves out of the apartment and very generously came to our rescue.
We had a brilliant holiday in Naples and have many happy memories of our stay. We embraced Naples and all it has to offer and it did not disappoint us. We really recommend this superb apartment. There are wonderful views of the bay of Naples from the entrance path and from the bedroom window. John and Paola we send you our thanks for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

We had a great time staying here. Paola and John couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The apartment is lovely -- airy, peaceful, and comfortable, with an old fashioned quality.
