Padang-Padang Sari Homestay

The lady boss is very friendly, and personally I really loved the location of the homestay with its nice garden view and gym. It’s just a 1-minute walk from Padang Padang Beach, which is a bit weird because we still had to pay an entry fee for the beach . Beaches are supposed to be free. There are many food options nearby, including delicious food from the homestay’s restaurant itself. Another plus point is that the room is super spacious, with a big bathroom and a pantry equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and some basic necessities. Outside the room, there’s even a sitting area and a place to dry your clothes.

The downside is that the toilet water pressure is not very strong. I guess when too many rooms are using water at the same time, my room temporarily loses water supply. The scary part was the huntsman spider 🕷️. Generally, it’s not poisonous and actually eats lizards, but it was a bit unavoidable since they can come in through tiny holes. The owner was very nice and even came to our room to check because he knew we were afraid of it.

I found a bit overpriced. Maybe it is the uluwatu prices. I’ve been to other places around Bali paying much less and having the same or better experience.

The place surprised me positively, the room is new, spacious, comfortable, clean, has a big bathroom and a mini kitchen with daily utensils and a microwave. The room has a glass sliding door that leads to the garden and exit, which I found very beautiful and it illuminates the room well during the day, it's very comfortable to be there. It's right next to Padang Padang beach (about 2 minutes walking). The complex is also very beautiful with green grass, good lighting and even some gym equipment in the back. The entrance is the owner's restaurant, which is very convenient if you want to have breakfast or any other meal. I highly recommend this place!

The shower water didn't get hot enough.

Amazing location, 5 min walk to Padang Padang cove and plenty of shops and restaurants near by. The onsite warung was great for a cheap meal, had a lovely cap cay.

Mould in the room, which is common in Bali and generally needed a refresh as the room was quite tired. Very noisy next to the road but we were warned.
