About this cottage rental
This two story little red cottage sits right on the shores of serene and pristine Lake Chateuagay in the northern Adirondacks. It has been recently updated to include a full bathroom, a generator for electricity, and a lovely upstairs bedroom with a dormer overlooking the water. Adjacent to the house is a very private large open lawn area, great for soccer games or volleyball, where there is a boat dock, a swimming raft, and a gradual sandy swimming beach, great for kids.

My husband, myself , our adult sons & dogs had a wonderful time. The cabin sits on a gorgeous, clean lake with a long stretch of waterfront. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit.

This is a true Adirondack experience! Beautiful lakefront sanded beach, cute rustic cabin with an outside screened in porch to getaway from those biting horse flies. I enjoyed listening to the lakes waves in the early morning and the loons at nights. Perfect spot for the dogs, we enjoyed swimming and boating in the lake. Plenty of boats, canoes and kayaks to choose from. No need for a fenced yard it’s very secluded, you drive at least 2 miles back on a very private dirt road. Peaceful serenity! I recommended bringing your own fan for those hot humid summer days but very cool and comfortable at night. Also lots of bug spray! I did not want to leave, it was truly a home away from home. I would definitely come back again! Loved it!

This was one of the most relaxing, gorgeous places I’ve stayed on vacation. The instructions and information given beforehand were very helpful and the host was communicative and kind. Would certainly stay again!
